While this location is only available as part of the new heist, it comes along with tons of new weapons, story, and content to discover. For starters, before players can jump into any of the new heist content, the player will need to purchase the Kosatka Submarine. This goes for $2.2 million at Warstock Cache and Carry and is a vital component to progressing in the story of the heist. Players can then begin the Cayo Perico storyline by visiting the island for the first time by airplane and completing its missions. Although, the player will need to step off the beaten path to find the Perico Pistol. Here’s how players can locate it.

How To Find The New Perico Pistol in GTA Online

After arriving at Cayo Perico, the player will need to search the island for a sleeping guard. The location of this guard is randomized for each player, so continue to search around the island until the player finds one. After finding them, the player will need to steal the Small Key from them. After the player has collected the key, they will need to sneak into El Rubio’s Compound.

The goal is to enter the main building out of all the multiple entrances available without getting caught. Players will need to locate the main office that can be found by taking the stairs or the elevator. The elevator is the more dangerous option since it leaves the player with minimal options to escape so take the stairs. Once the player makes their way into the main office, the Small Key will open a drawer in his desk with the Perico Pistol.

Only one player per heist round can grab the weapon. So if players are with friends, it will take multiple missions for everyone to get the new Perico Pistol. It’s quite a beautiful weapon, being covered in bright-gold. Perfect for any GTA player’s collection.
