Like the sweeping plains of the Heartlands, the great mountains up north, or the endless desert that stretches across the wild west, Red Dead Online often appears to be as slow to change as it is meticulously detailed. Want to get from one town to another? Get on your horse and giddyup. Need to make some money? Better set aside a good chunk of time to track, hunt, skin, and sell some pelts. The only stock market here is for outfitting rifles and repeaters. For a long time, players have voiced their feelings about the lack of big updates to this cowboy simulator, especially in comparison to developer Rockstar’s much flashier (and more lucrative) other game, Grand Theft Auto Online. But for those who have settled down for the long haul of life in the rugged west, new content is out now with the Blood Money update.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

Blood Money introduces gallons of new content to gallop into. Not only is there a new version of the Outlaw Pass (now called the Quick Draw Pass), but there is also a whole new story to explore with some interesting takes on the standard Red Dead Online mission structure to boot. And of course: new cosmetics and clothing. One of those new articles of clothing appealing to all the sartorialists out there is the Rebellion Poncho. For those looking to snag one of these patriotic pieces, here is how to get it.

Where to find the Rebellion Poncho in Red Dead Online

Compared to some of Red Dead Online’s other garments, this star-spangled poncho is actually quite simple to get. All one needs to do is find Madame Nazar, from whom the garment can then be purchased. For those who don’t recall, Madame Nazar is the quest giver who starts off the Collector role that was introduced in the Frontier Pursuits update. Madame Nazar changes locations every day, but there are numerous online resources that update daily to notify players where to find her. Once she is located, simply roll on up, say hi, open the Buy menu, and navigate to the tab for clothing.

The Rebellion Poncho should be right at the top of the list with a red diamond next to its name. Unlike some other items in the game, there is no level or role requirement for purchasing the Rebellion Poncho. All the player needs is to pony up some cash. At full price, it runs a reasonable $385, but as can be seen in the image above, there are sometimes discounts. Get it while it’s hot!
