Getting to the End in Minecraft is arguably the most important goal within the game. The inclusion of the End gave the game’s players something to work toward after their houses are built and thriving. The game can become pretty boring after this point without an overarching goal. Luckily, getting to the End requires a lot of steps and a lot of items.

The recent Nether Update has opened up players to a new set of biomes and mobs within the Nether. It has also provided a couple of helpful methods for players to reach the End faster than ever. Exploring the Nether has more benefits than ever! Here’s how to speed up the process of getting to the End in Minecraft.

Getting to The End in Minecraft

In order for players to get to The End, they will need to use an End Portal. End Portals can’t be crafted the way Nether Portals can. They must be found within Strongholds. Strongholds are chambers that can only be found using an Eye of Ender. Eyes of Ender can be crafted using Ender Pearls. Ender Pearls are frequent drops by Endermen. They are incredibly dangerous, but when they are killed, players can collect their Pearls. Combining the Ender Pearl with Blaze Powder will result in an Eye of Ender.

Once the player finds the Stronghold, they will need to activate the End Portal. Players can activate the portal using 12 Eyes of Ender. These can only be collected by killing Endermen, so this process can be very tedious and dangerous. Once the player collects all of the Eyes and places them in their frames within the Stronghold the portal will open and the player can step through.

Faster Ways to Get to The End in Minecraft

One aspect of the Nether update that is helpful to players is that there are now new biomes. These biomes are complete with a variety of new mobs and environments. The Warped Forest is a biome that contains a very large number of Endermen. They are not scared away by rain and the sun never comes out. This is a great place for players to stick around and grind Endermen for Pearls. Obviously, this is a very dangerous place to be, but prepared players will get through it.

Another method of collecting the Eyes of Ender would be to trade with the Piglins. Piglins are new mobs within the Nether which can be traded with for Gold Ingots. Gold Ingots aren’t always easy to come by, but most players near the end of the game will have a decent supply of them. There is only a 4% chance of getting Eyes of Ender from Piglins, but when they are dropped, they are dropped in groups of 4 to 8. This is a worthwhile risk for players to get their Eyes as quickly as possible.
