The Summit is a new location that has been added to The Division 2. This guide will help players get to the Summit. The Division 2 takes place in Washington D.C. during an era where a genetically engineered virus known as the “Green Poison” has been released. The player takes control of an agent of the Strategic Homeland Division as they work to rebuild the rest of the city. The game was a big hit when it officially released, being given 3 DLC episodes that further explored the D.C area and even went back to New York in Brooklyn for the Coney Island hunt. The Summit has been added as one of their bigger updates. Here’s how players can access it.

The Summit is basically a location where the player and friends can face a gauntlet of enemies at a time. This 100-story building gets more and more challenging with every floor. Although, players from all types of skill levels can enjoy it. For those looking to farm for better loot, the lower floors are more effective while the higher floors continue to add more of a challenge the higher the player goes. Each floor is different, offering the players different objectives like taking down the enemy forces or capturing a certain point. The main goal is to try to make it to the very top alive. Here’s how players can get to the Summit and begin their ascent.

How To Access The Summit in The Division 2

To gain access to the Summit, the player can fast travel to the location from the New York City main map or speak to the Pilot outside of the White House Base of Operations. This is only accessible to players who have reached level 40 and have finished the Warlords of New York campaign. Once arriving, the player will find an elevator that will begin their rise to the top. Checkpoints are present every 3rd floor, allowing players to jump back where they left off without having to start from the very beginning.

Ubisoft, the publishers behind The Division 2 have shown excitement to see which team will be the very first to reach the top of the Summit. The higher the player goes, the more valuable the loot will be. The game is all about building your current weapon line-up by going out into the world and finding the best loot. For beginner players, remaining on lower levels and grinding up for decent loot seems like the best way to approach this. Although, this can be experienced with friends so make sure to grab a couple of buddies to take down this 100-floor death gauntlet.
