How to Level Crafting in Cyberpunk 2077

Attributes in Cyberpunk 2077 are linked to skill trees full of perks, one of the harder ones to level is Crafting. Crafting is one of the two skill tree branches of the Technical Ability attribute. This is due to it not being the main part of the gameplay or something that is explained in-depth.

However, Crafting can be incredibly useful throughout the game. It makes for a cheaper version of many items available to the player, but this depends upon how many Crafting perks the player has invested in. Also, players cannot level their skill above the equivalent attribute, so players should take that into account.

Leveling Crafting in Cyberpunk 2077 With a Glitch or Otherwise

While there are glitches that players can take advantage of to level up their Crafting, the natural way to level it is still simple. Much like it sounds, Crafting has to do with deconstruction, construction, and upgrading items. Thus, the easiest and quickest way to level up the player’s Crafting skill is to dismantle items when possible instead of selling them, whether they are outfits, weapons, or pieces of junk. Another good way is to take the pieces that the player has gained from dismantling objects and use them to build or upgrade some other type of item.

The best items to dismantle and reuse are those that have an uncommon or rare trait. This means the biggest struggle to leveling this skill is simply collecting as many items as possible with the most useful pieces. Some of the better perks to invest in while leveling the Crafting skill are Edgerunner Artisan, Efficient Upgrades, Grease Monkey, True Scotsman, and Workshop.

The Crafting skill is also very useful in making lots of money quickly to pick up all the best Cyberware from a Ripperdoc in Night City. The first step to this cheat is to find several vending machines in Night City that sell items for 10 Eurodollars. It’s best to do this with as many as V can buy in one sitting, so head to an area with a lot of these machines and buy out the entirety of their stock. Afterward, once V has filled their inventory, open up their backpack, and disassemble all of the bought stock. This will grant V a large number of uncommon pieces to use in building.
