How to Make Strawberry Jam in Harvest Moon: One World

Harvest Moon: One World has several different types of recipes and plants to grow, like the Strawberry Jam recipe. Unfortunately, recipes like this aren’t the simplest to get. This one in particular will take several steps from finding a strawberry seed to unlocking the mobile shop and cooking the jam at the player’s home.

Strawberry Jam is important for an event within the game. It is the main item that players can offer to the Harvest Goddess in the offering ritual, so it is a necessary recipe to learn. While players might think that they could just find a strawberry and make jam with it, it isn’t quite that simple.

Steps to Take to Make Strawberry Jam in Harvest Moon: One World

The first main step to make strawberry jam is to grow strawberries. That’s right, players can’t just buy them. To grow at least three strawberries, players will need to find one strawberry seed. There are two main places that players can find these seeds within Lebkuchen. The main places to check are the Mine and the Netherland Dwarf Rabbit Spawner. Once collected, plant back in the player’s garden and care for six days to yield some strawberries.

Growing these strawberries will unlock the Strawberry Jam recipe to be sold by Samantha. However, as this is likely fairly early on in the game, Samantha won’t have her mobile shop yet, which is when she will sell the recipe to players. To unlock Samantha’s online shop, there is another quest players will need to complete called “Fix the Cart.” This quest will be offered to the player by Ahina. This quest will require the player to find and bring back four pieces of palm lumber to Ahina. To gain these, players will need to take an axe to Halo’s beach and chop down at least two palm trees.

After completing the quest, players can speak to Samantha and she will open her mobile shop. This is where players can buy the Strawberry Jam recipe for 3,000 Gs. Then all the player needs to do is return to the player’s home and enter their kitchen. Select the “Cooking” tab and choose the Strawberry Ham recipe. Confirm this request and the player character will make the jam. Three strawberries will grant the player one jar of strawberry jam which is just enough to offer to the Harvest Goddess.
