In Far Cry 6, Bicho is wanting to do his part in overthrowing dictator Antón Castillo, and he comes up with the idea of taking over the propaganda radio station to give Libertad Radio to the people. As Bicho’s idea is an ambitious one, he tasks Dani with getting the radio antennas working again by either fixing them or moving them into place. Getting the signal to work is quite the challenge, and it will take a bit of climbing, shooting, and planning to get everything working again.

The propaganda machine in Far Cry 6 that Antón Castillo uses might seem familiar to players. Ubisoft made it a point to draw upon previous political regimes known throughout the world, with some very similar notes in Far Cry 6. Ubisoft also took the revolutionary aspects of some similar uprisings and brought them to the game. For example, the revolutionary radio station is similar to real-life stations such as Radio Rebelde in Cuba or even Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty at the end of World War II.

Getting the Operation for Radio Libertad in Far Cry 6 is very easy, as it’s a part of the story progress. Getting it requires players to complete the mission “Hype Bomb” first. The Radio Libertad mission involves Dani setting up propaganda on live television to create a focal point for the revolution of Yara, with Radio Libertad following soon after.

How To Turn On The Radio Libertad Antennas In Far Cry 6

To get the Radio Libertad operation started in Far Cry 6, Dani must travel to Noventarmas and speak to Bicho at El Rancho Bicho near El Tronco Waterfall. Dani’s mission is to either fix the antennas or move them into position to get an optimal signal for Libertad radio to get on the air. After Bicho briefs Dani on the mission details, they can head to the first antenna, which is at the El Tronco Waterfall south of Bicho’s location.

The yellow waypoint guides Dani to a very visible radio tower outpost guarded by a few enemies. After dispatching the enemies, Dani can open the door to the building. They can interact with the power switch to get the antenna back online.

How To Fix The Second Antenna in Far Cry 6

From the first waypoint, players should head west to the second waypoint at Apartment Y-1 next to the V8 Victory Lap. They will need to access the roof and find the satellite dish. They will need to pull the switch under the dish, turn around, and exit through the gate by shooting the padlock.

Players should turn left and find a blue gated door. It has just enough space to shoot the padlock on the opposite door located on the other side of the room. Dani can then move around to where the switch was and enter the rooftop room. Inside is an orange fuse box to repair with Dani’s blowtorch.

How To Turn On The Third Antenna in Far Cry 6

The third antenna’s yellow marker is slightly southwest from the second antenna, west of Hideout Danzón. When reaching the location of the tower, there is a small building. To the right of it are some rocks Dani can climb and then grapple to the next level.

Dani can keep climbing with the help of the blue tarps but must be careful of the birds, as they can attack Dani on the way up. Eventually, players should come across a switch that powers up the tower, but Dani isn’t done just yet, as the propaganda signal is still active and preventing the Libertad broadcast.

How To Activate Libertad Radio In Far Cry 6

The final waypoint is east of Hideo Danzón, and there are swarms of enemies at the large satellite dish located here. Dani will need to be careful of helicopters flying around the area and get to the satellite. Then, they must climb up the staircase and pull the power switch to allow the signal to get through.

From the satellite, players can travel left and past the first building until they reach the stairs. They must go upstairs, being careful about the enemies there. In the tower, players must go up the ladder and activate a switch that will blow up the area below and destroy the surge protector. After taking out the Surge Protector, Far Cry 6’s Libertad radio will be on the air. In addition to loot from several chests and contraband along the way, Dani will receive 150 Guerrilla Experience and a Cassette Charm for completing this operation.

Far Cry 6 is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Google Stadia, and PC.
