Outside of exploring dungeons and changing the hearts of corrupt adults, players will need to face the trials of being a high schooler in a new city. Although, for those looking to make the most out of their relationships with their female companions, there is a way for players to romance certain characters. Haru is one of the characters that join the team much later in the story. During the Okumura Foods space palace, Haru will join the team. In order to even interact with her, the player will need to max out their Proficiency social stat. There is a multitude of ways to do it since Haru won’t give you the time of day with it being level 5. Players can create tools at the desk in their bedroom, head to the batting cages, or work at the Beef Bowl Shop. Continue to complete these tasks until players can interact with Haru. How To Romance Haru Okumura in Persona 5 Royal

After gaining enough Proficiency to speak with Haru, the player will then need to have a Persona with the Empress Arcana. While this isn’t mandatory to romance her, it is extremely recommended since it increases the speed at which players will build their relationship. The best thing to do to romance Haru is to hang out with her every chance you get. Eventually, she will begin to text Joker about making plans. Follow up with these plans and continue to do this until Haru is about to each rank 9 of her confidant. Players will then need to admit their feelings to Haru in order to romance her.

Players are only able to romance the female characters in the game but they do also have the option to romance several characters at once. Selecting multiple women in a single playthrough will lead to some interesting developments down the line. Haru could be the end-all-be-all, or the player could go above and beyond with every woman in the game. So many options!
