Tae Takemi is one of the characters players can romance in Persona 5 Royal. This guide will show players how they can do it. Building relationships with as many characters as possible is essential to getting the full Persona 5 Royal experience. While the game does have strict deadlines and it may be challenging to max out every confidant in a single playthrough, finding the right ones the player connects with on that first playthrough is the best way to experience the game. Tae Takemi is one of the available confidants that can be completed fairly early on. This guide will show players how they can romance her.

Tae Takemi is one of the characters that heavily requires the player to reach a certain social stat before being able to romance her. Beforehand, players should aim to have reached level 2 Guts (completing clinical trials, reading books, watching movies and DVDs, taking the Big Bang Challenge) and level 4 Charm (going to the bathhouse, drinking Frui-Tea, meeting with Ohya at Crossroads) before starting this confidant. It is made much easier once the player has the necessary social skill so the player doesn’t forget about this one. Raising up this one gives the player access to valuable healing items for a considerable discount so make sure to invest the time. Here is what players can do to romance Tae Takemi.

How To Romance Tae Takemi in Persona 5 Royal

After reaching level 2 Guts and level 4 Charm, the player will then need to get a Persona with the Death Arcana. This Persona will make it much easier to save time building your relationship with Takemi. Continue to hang out with her and go through her storyline about her medical practice until reaching rank 9. Once the player reaches rank 9, they will be given the option to romance Takemi. Make sure to be forward and blunt with your dialogue choices. Takemi doesn’t mess around. Players can then retire the Death Persona or fuse it for a different Arcana needed for another character.

Players are also given the option to romance multiple characters during a single playthrough. While the player cannot romance any of the male cast, all the female characters are available for romance. It does lead to some interesting developments later into the story that will for sure make the player laugh (or cry). The game does feature a New Game Plus, making it much easier to complete the confidants you might have missed during your first playthrough.

Persona 5 Royal is available now on PlayStation 4.
