Solving the Standing Stones puzzles in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla involves lining up a symbol just right in order to trigger a meditative state for Eivor and gain a Skill Point. Some of these puzzles can be difficult and frustrating because pieces of the symbol will be on multiple stones, so the right spot to stand in can be unclear. A few of the puzzles even require players to climb on or break objects to find the symbol. With the latest AC Valhalla DLC expansion, there are a total of 14 Standing Stones puzzles to solve in AC Valhalla.

Each of the Standing Stones puzzles has a letter that will be read aloud once interacted with. There will also be a symbol at the bottom of the letter that players will need to find and line up on the surrounding stones. Standing Stones puzzles in AC Valhalla will require players to move or break objects, or even kill a bear. Finding the right solution for each puzzle means putting in some effort to identify the right rocks to use and line them up properly.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

When players are close to finding the solution, there will be haptic feedback and the screen will start zooming in on the symbol. If players walk around slowly enough, they will eventually come across the right pattern, but there are easier ways to locate the symbols and obtain the Skill Point. For example, players can find a rock that has a large portion of the symbol and work on finding the right angle to view it or try to look at the whole puzzle from outside o or above the puzzle area.

Every Standing Stones Solution in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

Players can find most of the Standing Stones puzzles in England, but there’s one in Vinland and a new one on the Isle of Skye as part of the recent DLC in AC Valhalla. In order to view the symbols on the rocks for each Standing Stones puzzle, players will need to use Odin’s Sight. This ability will highlight fractured symbols in blue on each of the rocks in the puzzle area. Players will need to sometimes leave the Standing Stones area to view the solution or break objects to see the full symbol. Each Standing Stones puzzle presents players with a unique challenge.

England Standing Stones

  • Seahenge East Anglia: Players can go northeast of Wulfgeard and find the solution to this puzzle slightly underwater. Players will need to go to the left of the stone with the message, go past the big tree, then turn around and face the tree while standing on the stone near it.
  • Lord and Lady Grantebridgescire: Players can find this Standing Stones Puzzle west of Walden near the border of Grantebridgescire. The solution requires AC Valhalla‘s Eivor to climb up the tree to the left of the message showing the required symbol.
  • Devil’s Quoits Glowcestrescire: From Oxeneforda, players need to go west and find a boat in the river near this Standing Stones puzzle. Players can row to the right of the message stone, then face the boat toward the shore and move in close to solve the puzzle.
  • Rollendritch Glowcestrescire: Players should head southwest of Evesham Abbey. Then players need to go to the right from the message stone, through the archway, a few steps further right, and then look back toward the center for the solution.
  • Cosintun Ledecestrescire: To the northeast of Bardon’s Lookout, players will find Cosintun. Players can find the solution near the campfire in front of the archway, but they will need to defeat a few AC Valhalla enemies in the area first.
  • Medeuuage Megaliths Cent: Players will need to head east of Tonbridge Monastery and kill the bear that’s in the Standing Stones puzzle area. Then, from the center stone with the message, players can take a few steps to the right to line up the symbol on a group of rocks in front of them.
  • Aeseforda Stones Snotinghamscire: From Maneis Outpost, players can go east to find the puzzle. The solution can be found to the left of the message stone when players look back toward the center.
  • Eorthburg Hlaw Snotinghamscire: Players should travel southwest of Berserker’s House and go down the side of the cliff from the message stone. Players will need to break the ice to view the solution.
  • Stonehenge Hamtunscire: This Standing Stones puzzle is located at Myrddin’s cave, and the solution is on the third formation to the right of the message stone.
  • Aveberie Megaliths Hamtunscire: Players can find this Standing Stones puzzle in AC Valhalla east of Cippanhamm Garrison. The solution can be seen from atop the tallest stone looking down at the slightly shorter ones.
  • Rodestan Monolith Eurvicscire: From Scarborough, players can go south and find the line of stones with the pattern on it. Players will need to shoot the breakable ice on the ground and stand in the hole to view the solution.
  • Mycel Fold Sciropescire: Players can go northeast of Caustow Castle and go to the waterfall near the Standing Stones puzzle. After climbing up, players can turn around to face the puzzle and find the solution.

Additional Standing Stones

  • Tionontat’é:ken Vinland: From Loterio’tatteron:ke, players can go south and find the solution to the Standing Stones to the right of the stone with the message. Players will need to move two of the stones to the left to line up the solution. This is the only Standing Stones puzzle in AC Valhalla‘s Vinland.
  • Fairy Glen Isle of Skye: Players can find this Standing Stones puzzle west of Brothers’ Point, and the solution requires players to use a movable wooden object. Players can break the crates surrounding the movable wooden platform, then push it as far as it will go and climb on top to view the solution.

There are only two Standing Stones puzzles outside of England, and one is part of the Crossover Stories DLC on the Isle of Skye, the same area where players complete a light beam puzzle in AC Valhalla. Each Standing Stones puzzle will grant players one Skill Point to use on the various abilities available to Eivor. Solving every Standing Stones puzzle will bring players closer to 100% completion in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
