The world of The Outer Worlds gives players an amazing amount of content and things to explore. There are all kinds of weapons and equipment to check out, enemies to defeat, and quest lines to spend time with. Exploring the massive game world is something that many players could spend hundreds of hours with and probably still not run out of things to do. Despite all of this, there is already a brand new DLC for players to check out.

The new DLC for The Outer Worlds is called Peril on Gorgon and lets players take their adventure to a brand new planet. This offers a wealth of new content, like a completely new questline and enemies that have never before been encountered. The issue here is that players may not immediately realize how to access the Peril on Gorgon, which can make things a little tricky. This guide shows players how to start The Outer Worlds new DLC.

Outer Worlds: How to Start Peril on Gorgon

Starting the Peril on Gorgon DLC is not immediately obvious, as players will have to be past a certain point in the game before they can access the DLC. Fans will need to complete the Radio Free Monarch quest first. After this is done they then need to fly to another planet which will start a conversation with the Parcel Runner. During this conversation, players will receive a new questline that will take them to the planet Gorgon and start the new DLC.

Players should keep in mind though that depending on how far in the questline they are, they may not be able to start Peril on Gorgon. If they have already made it to Tartarus they will be forced to make a manual save on that planet, and will not be able to leave as that is the endgame portion. This means that once arriving here they will not be able to leave this planet again before the game is over. If this happens players will need to look for another manual save from before Tartarus. If one does not exist then players will sadly need to start the game over from the beginning and complete the Radio Free Monarch mission again in order to check out the DLC.

Outer Worlds can be played on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
