Rocket League adds 007’s Aston Martin Valhalla supercar, the agent’s new vehicle used in the latest James Bond movie called No Time To Die. The announcement for the vehicle’s addition came earlier on Tuesday, Oct. 5, along with other details regarding the crossover event. The Aston Martin Valhalla is the first hybrid car in Rocket League and its in-game design, including audio, is the collaborative product of Pysonix and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios.

The Ashton Martin Valhalla pulls into the garage as Rocket League’s latest cosmetic item on Oct. 7 for 1,100 Credits. 007’s Ashton Martin Valhalla joins Rocket League’s roster as another vehicle with the Dominous hitbox,  and players in the U.S. can see the vehicle in No Time To Die on Oct. 8. The film was already released in the U.K. on Sept. 30, and ends James Bond’s short-lived retirement plans. After leaving service, Bond’s old CIA friend, Felix Leiter, asks for the former Agent’s assistance. Bond and Leiter follow the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

Unfortunately, the only way to unlock 007’s Ashton Martin Valhalla is by purchasing the car for 1,100 Credits. The full 007 Collection is priced at 2,000 Credits and comes with James Bond’s newest vehicle, Bond’s classic Aston Martin DB5, and their decals, wheels, and engine audio. The decals, wheels, and engine audio are the same items that are featured in the James Bond films. The items included in this Rocket League bundle can only be equipped on 007’s vehicles.

Rocket League: 007’s Ashton Martin Valhalla & Crossover Event

The 007 bundles will be active in the Rocket League Item Shop from Oct. 7 through Oct. 13, along with the No Time To Die crossover event. The event features three in-game challenges and rewards. Complete these challenges to unlock 007’s Aston Martin DB5 Player Banner, Agent 007 Avatar Border, and the “00 Agent” Player Title. Pysonix has not released the details of the challenges yet, but they are featuring a number of community members in an additional “Agents vs. Villians” event on their Twitch channel to accompany this event.

Both Aston Martins are choice cars for the 2v2 Tournaments in Rocket League. Having a Dominous hitbox makes the Ashton Martin Valhalla a great car to use in ranked matches. The Aston Martin DB5, on the other hand, has the same hitbox as the Octane, giving it an edge in ranked matches as well. Additionally, 007’s Ashton Martin DB5 was originally part of the crossover event that took place in July 2021, and it’s likely that these cars will not be returning to the Item Shop for some time after this event is over.
