How to Unlock CX-9 SMG in Call of Duty: Warzone

The CX-9 is one of the newest weapons to join Call of Duty: Warzone. With the release of Black Ops Cold War for both current and last generation consoles, many of the new weapons introduced have been added to both it and Warzone. This time, it’s working a bit differently. The last major COD title, Modern Warfare, is the only one to receive the CX-9 item outside of Warzone. It’s a strange development since Black Ops Cold War has been the main focus between both players and the developers but a new weapon is a new weapon. Players can unlock this weapon in either Modern Warfare or Warzone, and have it available in the other title.

The CX-9 is a weapon that allows for rapid-fire kills from close range. This is a perfect weapon in Warzone for dealing with indoor encounters while on the battlefield. Fortunately, players are able to create their own custom builds to find while exploring the land landscape. Although, players will need to complete an in-game challenge in order to achieve it.

How To Unlock The CX-9 in Call of Duty: Warzone

For this weapon, players will need to get 2 longshot kills with an SMG in a single match of Warzone, for 5 different matches. As mentioned, players can unlock the weapon in either Warzone or Modern Warfare and have it available in the other title. Here are the best ways for players to unlock this weapon in both games.

• Warzone: Players should jump into the Plunder mode since it allows players to be revived when knocked down. This will make it much easier to unlock when compared to the normal battle royale mode.
• Modern Warfare: Players should enter Hardcore Teamdeath Match. Since damage is much higher in this game mode, it will be much easier to get the 2 longshot kills required in each match. Players can also try the normal Team Deathmatch mode but it will be a bit more challenging.

Once this weapon is unlocked, players can begin to earn levels with it to unlock special attachments and skins in Warzone. Ultimately, this SMG falls right in line with the rest of them. It’s pleasant to have another weapon to level up for additional XP. Warzone will continue to introduce plenty of new weapons with future updates. Hopefully, the developers will turn their attention back on Black Ops Cold War when it comes to extra content.
