Whether stuck on where to go or just trying to make getting around easier, double jump and charge jump are both useful. Even when evading enemies, these abilities come in handy. However, players looking to obtain these skills may be curious as to where to get them and what is involved with their acquisition.

How to Unlock Double Jump in Cyberpunk 2077

Players looking to get double-jump in Cyberpunk 2077 will have to invest a pretty penny in the ability. The skill comes from equipping a certain piece of cyberware to V: Reinforced Tendons. This modification takes up players’ “Legs” space in the Cyberware menu. The only way to acquire this cyberware is to purchase it from a ripperdoc, such as Viktor Vector (the first ripperdoc players meet in the game).

However, the Reinforced Tendons cost 45,000 eurodollars (eddies) to buy, so players will have to save their in-game money. Doing side gigs, selling unnecessary items and equipment, and performing successful Breach Protocols are great ways to make money fast in Cyberpunk 2077. Once purchased, players only need to equip the cyberware and press their jump input a second time in the air to perform the coveted double jump.

How to Unlock Charge Jump in Cyberpunk 2077

The charge jump functions like the double jump in Cyberpunk 2077 in that it gives players the ability to navigate to higher places, speed up their parkour endeavors, and assists with evading enemies when used correctly. However, instead of jumping twice in the air, players will hold down their jump input and release it after a couple seconds to perform one massive leap. The mechanic functions the same way as a similar feature in Marvel’s Spider-Man by Insomniac Games for PS4 and PS5.

Like the double jump, the charge jump is unlocked when players equip a certain piece of cyberware: Fortified Ankles. Again, this takes up the “Legs” slot in the cyberware menu and costs 45,000 eddies to purchase from a ripperdoc. Once unlocked, gamers will be able to reach those difficult places that were too high to navigate previously. To reiterate, completing side gigs in Cyberpunk 2077 and other activities can help accumulate in-game currency quickly.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with upgraded versions coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X sometimes in 2021.
