Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker introduces a new tier of hunt monsters. These are designed to help level up players from 80 to 90, and then afterward grant additional currency. Some of these rewards can be used to purchase and enhance combat gear, or used for cosmetics, minions, and more.

While hunt monsters roam around the world of Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker, to help focus players on key targets one may collect hunt bills. This helps prevent the player base from killing mobs that would grant them no rewards. Alternately, those that share the same bill can team up and more quickly kill their prey.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

Hunt bills come in two forms: daily and weekly. The former happens every day at 08:00 Pacific time; the latter on Tuesdays at 01:00 Pacific time. This may make it important to accept and complete each objective in the allowed time. While a bill type never expires, only one can be held at a time. Any that are not collected are forever forfeited.

Issued Hunt Bills in Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker

The zone for Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker hunts is Sharlayan, which is only accessible by completing all story content from Shadowbringers. While Northota is the main Hunt NPC within Sharlayan, she will only meet with players if they have already proven themselves capable hunters within Ishgard. This means that one will need to do all the following missions in both Heavensward and Endwalker

  • Let the Clan Hun Begin: level 53, from Aytienne in the Foundation (x:13, y:11.9)
  • Better Bill Hunting: level 56, from Eustacia in the Foundation (x:12.5, y:11.7)
  • Top Marks: level 59, from Ylosise in Idyllshire (x:6.5, y:6.9)
  • Elite and Dangerous: level 60, from Ardolian in the Foundation (x:13.1, y11.9)
  • The Hunt for Specimens: level 80, from Diminutive Gleaner in Old Sharlayn (x:11.2, y:12)
  • That Specimen that Came from the Moon: level 83, from Northota (x:11.8, y:13.2)
  • A Hunt for the Ages: level 89, from Northota
  • Perfect Specimens: level 90, from Nothota

Each Sharlayan hunt rewards experience points before level 90 and tomestones for the 90 ones. Players can undergo hunt bills even below the recommended level, though the amount of experience will be greatly reduced. Additionally, Sharlayan also grants Sacks of Nuts – the exact same currency accepted in the Crystarium throughout Shadowbringers. The exchange goes both ways, allowing one to gain early funds for Endwalker or bringing level 90 hunt rewards back down into Shadowbringers. One can double up on currency by also completing the following side quests:

  • Nuts for You: level 70, from Hume Lout in The Crystarium (x:12.2, y:15.1)
  • Two Nuts Too Nutty: level 73, from Halldor in the Crystarium (x:9.5, y:9.4)
  • How Do You Like Three Nuts: level 76, from Halldor
  • Too Many Nutters: level 80, from Halldor

While these are the hunt bills issued directly by various guilds and factions, there are other hunts throughout the world. If one locates a wild hunt they may attempt to defeat it even without completing any of these quests. However, those overworld fights are designed for at least a full eight-man party and may be too great of a challenge when solo.
