Sophia is one of the newest characters to join the roster in Persona 5 Strikers. This guide will show players how they can unlock her. Persona 5 Strikers picks up a few months after the original Persona 5. Joker and Morgana return to Japan for a reunion with the Phantom Thieves for a vacation but as things slowly begin to unravel, the team must come together again to save people being attacked by Shadows. Most of the Phantom Thieves make a return in this title with the addition of a few new characters like Sophia. This guide will show how players can unlock her as a playable character.

Persona 5 Strikers allows players to play as all of the main Phantom Thieves besides two of them. Considering this game picks up from the original Persona 5 rather than the updated Persona 5 Royal, characters like Maruki and Kasumi are absent from this title. In the case of Maruki, it makes sense since he only acted as a supporting character but Kasumi was fully playable in Persona 5 Royal. Hopefully, she can make a return through a DLC in the future. But for now, players can meet some of the game’s newer characters, like Sophia. Here is how players can unlock her in Persona 5 Strikers.

How To Unlock Sophia in Persona 5 Strikers

Players will be able to get to know Sophia fairly early into the game. They can unlock her as a playable character in the Shibuya Jail in the first hour of the game. Considering this acts as the game’s general tutorial, it will give a better understanding of the game’s mechanics and intro Sophia to the rest of the Phantom Thieves. She and Zenkichi Hasegawa are amongst the only two new playable characters in this entry. While Sophia enters the game fairly early, Zenkichi will take players a bit more time to unlock. Regardless, players can spend a majority of the game getting to know Sophia to see how she fits in with the rest of the Phantom Thieves.

Persona 5 Strikers is an excellent small taste of what a follow-up to the original game could be. Many cite the original Persona 5 as one of the greatest JRPGs of the last generation and even one of the best games of all time. While Strikers can be completed in under 30 hours, it is substantial in seeing our favorite characters again. Persona 5 Strikers is a great time for Persona fans.
