Ghost Recon Breakpoint has gone through some significant changes since its inception and title update 3.0.0 is no exception with the Honey Badger making an appearance. The Honey Badger has been a long-awaited weapon in the game where it was available for a short time last year but is now in the game permanently. The gun was obtainable previously with a set of challenges where a lot of players had missed out. Ubisoft finally made a move to make it available, and players are racing to get it.

Title Update 3.0.0. got new abilities and weapons where the Honey Badger is the most noticeable weapon with the introduction to Episode 3. In Episode 3, the new Pathfinder class has opened that includes the new Azrael Drone that can launch airstrikes among its other abilities. The launch of the episode also has a new mission called the Red Patriot Adventure in which it has players trying to stop a neurotoxic attack aimed squarely at the United States. There is plenty to do in Episode 3, but the Honey Badger is going to be a weapon that will serve gamers well with the multitude of options in front of them.

Getting the Honey Badger in Ghost Recon Breakpoint

With the Honey Badger now available in Ghost Recon Breakpoint, the short answer is that Maria in Erewhon has the blueprint for the firearm at her shop. Maria sells the blueprint for the weapon at 20,000 Skell credits. Getting the Skell credits is very easy to do by completing missions, opening chests, and killing enemies. Selling items is another way to obtain credits, but breaking them down is more advisable to get materials to upgrade weapons instead. There is an alternate method to get the Honey Badger in Ghost Recon Breakpoint that requires a bit more work, but the fun factor is higher. For the second method of getting the Honey Badger, players need to have the Year 1 Pass. Having the pass unlocks a mission where players need to kill an enemy with the code name Kraken. Opening up the Objectives Board will have Kraken’s mission available for selection. After killing Kraken, the Honey Badger will be one of the items that players will acquire after his death. To locate Kraken after activating the mission, head to the Fen Bog area, and Kraken will be on the far east side of the province on an island called Drone Station W051. Kraken will have a yellow circle marker above his head that makes it easy to spot him. After killing him, be sure to pick up the communicator to finish off the mission.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
