Season 4 of Call of Duty: Warzone is here and has brought with it new in-game events, a new contract type, and a massive new game mode. Just like many seasons in the most popular battle royale games, it ends a lot of speculation (no nukes yet) while kicking off a whole new batch of questions, such as what might be lurking under the ice in the Dam area. One exciting rumor has been confirmed, however, as players can now grab the much-anticipated minigun.

As predicted, the minigun takes some effort to get to. Once the team finds it, however, players will have access to one of the highest rates of fire in the game and the opportunity to mount it on the side of the squad’s helicopter. Keep reading to find out how to find and unlock the minigun in Call of Duty: Warzone.

Open Bunker 11 In Call Of Duty: Warzone

It is not necessarily hard to track down the minigun in Call of Duty: Warzone, as it is one of the only weapons that always spawns in the same place regardless of game type. However, getting into that place is one of the most challenging puzzles in the game. To get the minigun, the squad needs to get access to Bunker 11. While most of the twelve bunkers in the game can be accessed by finding a red key card and bringing it to the door, Bunker 11 takes a bit more work.

The team will need to interact with two sets of phones. The first set of phones will activate the code needed to interact with the second set of phones, which will open Bunker 11 for the squad.

There are seven ‘activation phones’ scattered around the southwest section of the map that the team will need to explore first. There’s no guarantee which phone is the correct one, as it is random for each match. One of those seven phones will play a message containing three numbers – in Russian, of course.

Those three numbers tell the players which three phones the players need to visit to open the bunker and the order in which the phones need to be visited in. For example, if the player picks up and activation code and gets the number 435, the squad will need to visit the three ‘number phones’ in that order. First, they would pick up phone four, then phone three, and finally phone five.

Finding The Minigun In Call Of Duty: Warzone

If this sounds complicated, don’t worry – it is! Thankfully, a Reddit user named StrangerRobijn has put together an immensely helpful map that shows the location of the activation phones, number phones and translates the Russian numerals. Just for the record, the player can listen to this code as many times as they would like in order to translate it.

Once the team has completed the game of phone tag, the Bunker 11 keypad will turn green and the team can open the door. Players should jump in some type of transportation, preferably the helicopter, and make their way to the bunker.

Once inside, the squad will find all of the rewards that were already waiting for them in Season 3, including the MP7 Mud Druaber blueprints. However, with a little searching, the team will also find the brand new minigun waiting to be grabbed. The player can pick it up just like they would any other weapon and use its 320 round magazine and insane rate of fire to dominate the rest of the match.

Call Of Duty: Warzoneis available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
