How to Unlock The New Deadlands Area in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night

As of the 14th of January, Bloodstained: The Ritual of Night has received a new area called the Dead Lands. Although this new area has been added, it isn’t very easy to reach. We’ll follow a path through the game to get to this area.

This area won’t become unlocked on the map until after the player has defeated Bathin. After which, the first step to finding the Dead Lands is by unlocking and traveling to the Garden of Silence. This is one of the last areas players will find in their playthrough, so the Dead Lands is an area that will be for higher-level characters. However, before heading to this area, players will need a specific item to unlock the transportation.

How to Get to the Dead Lands in Bloodstained: The Ritual of Night

Before heading to the Garden of Silence players will need to purchase an item from any of the nearby shops. This item is called the Crown of Creation. It offers a plus one to the player’s Def and costs merely one gold. Its description states that the crown uses gold to reduce damage and that once its use has been mastered that it will allow the player to secure a distant kingdom. Make sure to purchase and equip it before heading out.

Walk to the nearest fast travel stop and head to the Garden of Silence. After arriving at the Garden of Silence door head left into a dilapidated room with a bookshelf on the opposite end. Use the rubble to jump up and head through the door on the right in the second level. Head right through several rooms until the player reaches the second room of staircases.

Head up these stairs to the third level and go through the door on the right-hand side. Continue on to the right through three more rooms reaching another room of staircases covered in vines. Head through the door on the right in the lower level. Continue on through another door, a well-lit corridor, a corridor with lamps, and finally on through to the train station. At the furthest right end of the room with the train in it, players will be allowed to board the train.

Once onboard the train, players will need to make their way through to the fifth of the boxcars within the train. On the lower level of the fifth boxcar, there is a final door. Use this to skip past the entirety of the train ride and head straight to the destination, the Dead Lands.
