World of Warcraft is an MMORPG that was released by Blizzard Entertainment in 2004. World of Warcraft has had eight expansion packs, and with each one more content such as cosmetics, weapons, races, quests, and conflicts are added. Players can also collect items that allow them to carry out tasks quicker or to immerse themselves more fully in the world of Azeroth.

Mounts are animal companions or machines that can ride through mount-friendly areas to make travel in World of Warcraft much quicker. Many of the mounts can also be used to fly. While the quickest way to travel is through Flight Points, they will only bring players to main points of interest, while mounts can bring players to exact locations. Mounts can be purchased, looted, or earned via quests and achievements. Mounts also have an emote that is assigned to them, and there are also racial, class-specific, and faction mounts. The Spirit of Eche’ro mount can only be acquired by completing quests in a certain timeframe.

How to Unlock The Spirit of Eche’ro Mount in World of Warcraft

Spirit of Eche’ro can only be obtained by completing special legion archaeology quests available in Dalaran. Each quest can only be completed once every six months, and are available for two weeks. The Spirit of Eche’ro is available to any race, faction, or class that completes the quest. 

To unlock the Spirit of Eche’ro, players should travel to the Archaeology shop and talk to Dariness the Learned to acquire the quest “The Right Path”. Players will be tasked with talking to Lessah Moonwater in Thunder Totem. She will ask the player to help her gather the remains of Huln Highmountain’s moose companion, Eche’ro. This starts the quest “Laying to Rest”.

Players can visit different digging sites in Highmountain to collect Eche’ro’s bone fragments, as there are 600 scattered around. Dig sites aren’t guaranteed to have bone fragments, but if players defeat an Angry Tauren Spirit they can loot anywhere from 10-20 bone fragments from its body. There is also a Legion Surveying glove enchantment that will make the process much quicker.

When all of the bone fragments are collected, players can return to Lessah to give Eche’ro a proper burial. Down the hill from the Thunder Totem’s main platform, in a small cave the ceremony will take place. After this, The Spirit of Eche’ro mount will be available for players to use as either a ground or flying mount. 

To use The Spirit of Eche’ro, players must be at level 40 and must have the Apprentice Riding skill.
