The newest season of Fortnite is finally here with tons of new content. Here’s how players can unlock the Thor skin in the game. For this season, Fortnite decided to do something a little different. The entire season is dedicated to Marvel comics and plenty of its biggest heroes and villains. This includes characters like Iron Man, Dr. Doom, Silver Surfer, and Storm. While Marvel has made an appearance in Fortnite through limited-time game modes and skins, this marks the first time where the entire season is dedicated to the world’s strongest heroes. Thor, the God of Thunder, is one of the unlockable skins in the game. Here’s how players can unlock him.

The neat feature about this season is that the player can unlock the normal skins for the characters then, later on, unlock the emote that suits them up in their superhero costumes. The map has also had some changes to feature popular locations from Marvel comics such as Doom’s Domain, Sentinel Graveyard, and more. Iron Man might have the biggest inclusion this season since outside of just skin and a suit-up emote, Stark Industries comes along with its own energy rifle that will benefit players depending on how they aim and Stark Supply Drones that can be shot down to deliver powerful weapons. There’s much to discover in this massive crossover so here’s how players can unlock the Thor skin in the game.

How To Unlock The Thor Skin in Fortnite Season 4

Thor is one of the earliest skins available in this season’s battle pass. Players will need to purchase the battle pass to unlock this skin. Once the player reaches level 8, they will be able to locate Thor’s mighty hammer, Mjolnir. The player will need to be wearing the Thor skin to complete these challenges. The player will be given the challenge to find the Bifrost marks at the mountaintop ruins. The player will be able to find the hammer in a giant crater to the north of Weeping Woods. Once again, the Thor skin will need to be equipped or it will just be a regular pickaxe. Now, Thor is complete for the player to use during their time in the battle royale.

It’s surprising to see Fortnite do a full-blown seasonal event with Marvel. In the past, Marvel allowed players to play as Thanos to promote Avengers: Infinity War. This was an entirely separate game mode from the base game. Now, the entire game is tied with the Marvel lore. Marvel even stating that the events that take place in Fortnite this season being canon to the stories in the comics. This is one of the biggest collaborations in gaming this generation.
