Hot on the heels of the Mayweather versus Paul fight, where a former professional boxer stepped in the ring with a YouTuber, comes the Social Gloves: Battle of the Platforms event. The event was announced some time ago, and while McBroom and Bryce are billed as the main attraction, a variety of different TikTok and YouTube stars will be fighting each other. All of which results in a full night of boxing for those watching.

For those in Florida, there is the option to watch the event live at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. For everyone else, the TikTok versus YouTube boxing event is not actually available to watch on either TikTok or YouTube. Although billed as a ‘Battle of the Platforms,’ neither platform is involved with the event. Instead, the night of boxing is being hosted by LiveXLive, the streaming platform that provides access to music and live events, with LiveXLive apps available to download directly from the App Store and Google Play Store. However, this is not a free-to-watch event, so interested viewers will need to purchase a digital ticket to stream this weekend’s boxing action.

To watch all the fights as they unfold, a standard pay-per-view ticket will cost $49.99. Not only will this provide access to the PPV livestream, but it also includes an exclusive Social Gloves: Battle of the Platforms NFT as a free gift. This is in addition to six months of access to LiveXLive Plus for free. Alternatively, there is a $69.99 ticket that adds an exclusive event t-shirt to the PPV livestream and free gift. It is worth noting that all of these costs are just the listed prices and are subject to additional fees. For example, there is an extra $8.50 service cost to pay if opting for the standard PPV livestream, and the fee increase for those upgrading to any of the merch-related packages. Not to mention, as the merch packages include merch, there is an additional shipping cost that varies depending on the buyer’s location. Due to these additional fees, the exact and final price to watch the Austin and Bryce fight, as well as the rest of the TikTok versus YouTube matchups, will vary.
