In Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity there is a wide array of different characters for each player to take control of. Each of these characters are from the extremely popular game Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild and each of them has access to all kinds of interesting weapons and abilities. Players will want to upgrade these characters and their weapons as often as they possibly can.

Those who want to upgrade characters and weapons though will need to have access to a massive amount of materials. The materials will be obtained throughout each of the game’s levels, but it may not always be easy to figure out where to find the specific ones that are needed. The best way to do this is to pick up the Sheikah Sensor as quickly as possible, which will in turn allow players to track materials. This guide shows players how to acquire the Sheikah Sensor.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity – How to Acquire the Sheikah Sensor

In order for players to get the Sheikah Sensor, they will first need to reach the second chapter of the game. Once here players will be given a side quest called “Needed: Researchers” in the Akkala Region which tasks players with acquiring a certain amount of materials. Players will need to collect and turn in 200 Bokoblin Trophies, 50 Lizalfos Trophies, and 1000 rupees. Once this is done players will be given the Sheikah Sensor for all of their troubles.

With the Sheikah Sensor in hand, players will now be able to track any missing materials that they are in need of. If players are given a quest that requires certain materials they don’t have, they will be able to highlight the quest in the menu using the X button. If this is done then any quest on the map that will give players the resources they need will be indicated with a green marker.

Even if players don’t have a quest to complete they can still track down specific materials whenever they wish. All they have to do is go into the materials screen in their menu and scroll through to find whatever resource they are looking for. They can then highlight these materials with the X button and any quest that gives them out will be indicated on the map.
