Out of the slew of open-world action RPGs that Ubisoft has released in the last few months, Immortals Fenyx Rising is probably the one with the most unique setting even if its gameplay is pretty similar to a certain popular Legend of Zelda game. There is so much for players to do throughout the game though from completing quests for the gods, defeating deadly creatures, and even seeking out powerful weapons and other items.

One of the more interesting aspects that Immortals Fenyx Rising pulls from Breath of the Wild is its focus on puzzles throughout the game world. The Vaults in particular have many difficult puzzles for players to figure out before they are able to earn many different kinds of interesting rewards. The very first Vault of Tartaros, Typhon’s Vault, is fairly difficult for those who are unsure of what they are doing. This guide shows players how to complete this Vault’s puzzle.

Immortals Fenyx Rising: Typhon’s Puzzle Solution

When players start doing the Passage of the Abyss story quest they will eventually come across Typhon’s Vault as a part of it. This is the first Vault of Tartaros that players are likely to encounter, so it may take a little bit of getting used to. The first thing that all players need to remember is that climbing the walls of a Vault is impossible. Trying to do so will just lead the player to fall and most likely die.

Once players enter the Vault they will want to immediately walk forward and leap across a small gap ahead of them. There will then be a green ledge that players can jump over to and grab. These green surfaces are the only climbable parts of the environment inside Vaults, so the player can use this to climb up. Off to the side there will be another green ledge that the player needs to jump to and grab before pulling themselves up to another platform.

On this platform, there will be a switch that players will need to pull which will cause some platforms ahead of them to rise up. From here things get a little more difficult and this is where the puzzle aspect of this Vault comes into play. After pulling that switch players will be able to move forward to pull another one. This will lift up some platforms to the right that lead to yet another switch. Once this one has been pulled the player will need to quickly run back to the original switch and pull it yet again. This will cause one of the platforms to come towards the player, so they will need to quickly run and jump to it before it travels back to the other side. This allows them to progress forwards.

From here players will recover a set of wings that allow them to double jump, which can then be used to progress further into the Vault. After picking up the Axe the player will need to fight off four different enemies before being able to go through the doors ahead of them. There will then be a button the floor that can be used to start a moving platform that can then be jumped to and used to make it to the end of the Vault where a Lightning Bolt is waiting for the player.

Immortals Fenyx Rising can be played on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X, and PlayStation 5.
