Delivered is Into the Dark’s Mother’s Day-themed installment of the horror anthology series, which tackles the scary side of how far people are willing to go to become a parent and it features an impressive cast to tell this twisted tale.

Every episode of Hulu’s Into the Dark finds a creative slant on the holidays that audiences have grown accustomed towards and it gets to explore more of the fringe celebrations that often get overlooked in mainstream horror films. Mother’s Day is a very personal and emotional holiday for many and Hulu’s horror series decides to tell a small-scale story that strips things down to a vicious story between two mothers. It marks another satisfying entry from the second season of Into the Dark, which has gotten even more ambitious and playful than their debut season.

Into the Dark: Delivered tells a very violent and disturbing story that’s grounded in reality in such a way where it hits extra hard. This is not only a horrific series events that could happen, but has happened in cases from real life. The subject matter of this installment is particularly gripping, especially for any mothers that are watching, but the performances of the cast are where this entry really shines. The cast does some very dedicated work here, so here’s a helpful breakdown of who they all are and where else they can be seen.

Into The Dark: Delivered’s Main Cast & Characters

Natalie Paul as Valerie: Natalie Paul is the lead in Into the Dark: Delivered and both she and her incoming baby become the object of a crazed woman’s obsession. Valerie’s excited to have a baby and build a happy life with her husband, Tom. Paul has also played strong, yet vulnerable characters in series like The Sinner, The Deuce, and The Blacklist, where she’s played major roles. The actress is also no stranger to the horror genre, since she has a regular role on the Stephen King adaptation, Mr. Mercedes.

Tina Majorino as Jenny: Tina Majorino’s Jenny enters Into the Dark as a friendly expectant mother and an ally for Val during a trying time, but she eventually reveals her true intentions around her relationship with Val. Tina Majorino has had a very successful TV and film career so far. Some of her best known roles are her starring roles in Napoleon Dynamite, Veronica Mars, and Big Love.

Michael Cassidy as Tom: Tom is Val’s super helpful husband, but in spite of his commitment to her, she finds ways to keep him out. Michael Cassidy has had an eclectic TV and film career, and his classical good looks have resulted in roles that play into that, like his time on The O.C. or People of Earth. Cassidy’s role doesn’t push him as much as the rest of the cast, but he’s a reliable presence as a faithful husband for Val and his effortlessness here speaks to his talent.

Into The Dark: Delivered’s Supporting Cast & Characters

Micah Parker as Riley: Riley doesn’t get the most glamorous role here. He’s Val’s ex, who she thoroughly avoids and refuses to confront the baggage that’s between them. Micah Parker has popped up in guest roles in series like The Vampire Diaries, The Flash, and Mob City. He’s not as established as the rest of the cast in Into the Dark: Delivered, which makes this a strong breakout role for him that gets him to show off what he can do before Jenny cuts things short.
