While there are plenty of superhero shows out there now, Invincible sets itself apart thanks to its fascinating characters. Some of these superheroes and villains might seem familiar at first glance, but they are actually complex creations that mostly avoid the usual clichés.

With the distinct personalities of these larger-than-life characters, it’s a fun exercise to see how the audience can relate to them even if they are superpowered people. The Invincible main characters’ personalities can match with every zodiac sign so fans can see which of them they most closely resemble.

12 Aries – Cecil Stedman

Though he doesn’t have any superpowers, Cecil is certainly one of the smartest characters in Invincible. He is a level-headed and very determined man who seems to match the Aries personality quite closely.

Though Cecil doesn’t possess the typical energetic nature of Aries people, he does show his confidence and focus at all times. Given the nature of his work, he has little patience and can be moody, but when dealing with more powerful people, he is always courageous.

11 Taurus – Debbie Grayson

Debbie Grayson could have been a typically underwritten wife character but Invincible gives her a much stronger personality. As a Taurus, she is able to be a responsible and reliable member of the Grayson family when their world turns upside down.

Though she is a loving wife to Nolan at first, Debbie’s devotion is clearly for her son Mark. She is uncompromising in keeping him safe and provides a stable home for him at all times. She can get flustered by sudden changes but remains strong.

10 Gemini – Mark Grayson / Invincible

As fans follow Mark Grayson’s evolution into becoming the superhero known as Invincible, his Gemini personality really begins to shine through. Geminis are usually quick learners and adaptable, which comes in handy as Mark gains his new powers.

Even with his very impressive superpowers, Mark is still a gentle person who wants to help those in need. He can also lack confidence at times, being nervous around girls or unsure about his role as a new hero.

9 Cancer – William Clockwell

Given that Cancer personalities are known for their loyalty, it’s no surprise that William fits the bill. Even before realizing Mark was a superhero, he was a supportive friend. And after discovering the truth, he becomes even more trustworthy.

William has an enthusiastic and tenacious attitude, getting passionately swept up in ideas. He is also very sympathetic to those in pain such as when his boyfriend was captured and experimented on by a supervillain.

8 Leo – Rex Splode

There are some things only comic book fans know about Teen Team, but it’s fair to say that every member is heroic. However, say Rex Splode can be a bit obnoxious. Unfortunately, a lot of his worst tendencies tend to come from the Leo personality.

Rex can be a very arrogant superhero at times, regardless of whether it is earned or not. He can also be very stubborn, refusing to acknowledge his mistakes. He has a need to be the center of attention, but his good sense of humor and energetic attitude do brighten up the team as well.

7 Virgo – Robot

Robot initially feels like the typical emotionless robot character but eventually proves to have his own unique personality. And given that Virgo personalities are analytical and practical, it’s no surprise he matches with that quite well.

Robot is completely dedicated to his work on the new Guardians of the Globe to the point where he is all work and no play. He can also be critical of others and their performances, though his hardworking nature is an asset to the team.

6 Libra – Allen The Alien

When first introduced, Allen the Alien seems like a real threat, but quickly proves himself to be one of Invincible‘s most likable characters. Like most Libra, he is a very social being, becoming fast friends with Mark as they talk on the moon.

Allen is also fair-minded in his brief fight against Mark and very gracious in trying to help him out. Despite being powerful, he has a kind heart and seems to hate bullies.

5 Scorpio – Nolan Grayson / Omni-Man

Omni-Man begins as the greatest hero before becoming the most powerful villain on Invincible. His is an interesting and complex personality quite close to that of Scorpios, who are known for being powerful.

Scorpios can also be violent and manipulative, which is accurate to Omni-Man attempting to brainwash Mark and attacking him when it doesn’t work. And despite his own falsehoods, Omni-Man hates being lied to or kept in the dark, and this causes him to lash out.

4 Sagittarius – Monster Girl

Monster Girl might look like a small child when in human form, but she has a big personality that matches her monstrous alter-ego. Like most Sagittarius people, Monster Girl has a great sense of humor, usually goofing around with Rex Splode.

She is not afraid to speak her mind and can be impatient with people whom she doesn’t find professional. Yet she also has a generous side, finding kinship with Robot.

3 Capricorn – Black Samson

Capricorn people are known to be responsible and disciplined, which fits Black Samson quite well. Though he lost his powers previously, he is still a dedicated hero who expects the other members of the Guardians of the Globe to be as focused as he is.

A Capricorn can sometimes come off as overly negative and act like a know-it-all, which is also fairly accurate of Black Samson. Yet he also shares their traits of being good managers, helping keep the younger members of the team in line.

2 Aquarius – Amber Bennett

The teen romance between Mark and Amber is one of the more prominent relationships explored in Invincible. Thankfully, Amber is more than just a love interest and shows a more grounded look at being a hero.

With the positive traits of the Aquarius, Amber is a selfless humanitarian who volunteers her time to worthy causes. She is progressively minded, which fuels her charity work. However, she can also be irritated by Mark’s broken promises and is comfortable being independent if she feels she can’t count on him.

1 Pisces – Atom Eve

Atom Eve is another young yet extremely powerful hero who shows the compassion seen in Pisces. She seeks to help the world in gentler ways by creating instead of destroying.

Like most teens, she deals with a lot of emotional struggles, such as having her trust broken and her own sadness at her lack of direction. At the same time, she doesn’t mind being alone and escaping her own reality at times.
