It was one of the best action setpieces of 2017 and is reason alone to recommend the movie. For action fans wanting to watch – or even revisit – Atomic Blonde, sadly it’s not currently available on platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, or Hulu.

It was recently revealed that Atomic Blonde 2 is in development at Netflix as an exclusive movie, with Charlize Theron returning. Given the reveals surrounding her character Lorraine at the end of the original, it should be interesting to see where she goes next.

There’s also been talk of Atomic Blonde crossing over with the John Wick franchise. This would make a certain amount of sense, especially since Keanu Reeves and Charlize Theron are good friends, having co-starred in The Devil’s Advocate and Sweet November previously; they also trained together while prepping for John Wick: Chapter 2 and Atomic Blonde. The only possible issue with a crossover would be the timeline, with the John Wick series seemingly taking place in the modern-day, while Atomic Blonde was set in 1989.
