New characters are always coming to Genshin Impact, the hit free-to-play RPG from miHoYo. Because of this, fans are constantly looking ahead to see which characters might be added to the game in the future. One of these characters is Fu Hua, a playable character from miHoYo’s other RPG, Honkai Impact 3rd. Initially, it might seem odd for her to appear in Genshin Impact, but it actually makes a lot of sense.

Adding in new playable characters is the lifeblood of a game like Genshin Impact, which gets its revenue from players spending real money on in-game currency to use for gacha pulls for characters. Fu Hua is a popular character from Honkai Impact 3rd, and some fans were intrigued when Zhongli was added in Genshin Impact, since both Zhongli and the phoenix form of Fu Hua have similar designs. So, is Fu Hua actually going to be added to Genshin Impact in the future?

So far, nothing official has been announced by miHoYo regarding Fu Hua and Genshin Impact. Although, admittedly, the company has been pretty silent on anything after the newest Version 1.3 update. Still, there are several reasons to think Fu Hua could be added to Genshin Impact in the future.

Why Fu Hua Could Be Added To Genshin Impact Soon

Fu Hua comes in several different forms in Honkai Impact 3rd via Battlesuits, so there’s definitely a variety of designs that could be used in Genshin Impact. The character is pretty popular, so it makes sense miHoYo would choose Fu Hua or a similar famous character from that game to be one of the first to appear in Genshin Impact, should a crossover happen.

Mobile games, like Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd, often get crossover events, so it’s reasonable to assume Genshin Impact will have collaborations in the future. A crossover with Honkai Impact 3rd seems appropriate (and easy) since miHoYo makes both games. Starting with a popular character like Fu Hua also makes a lot of sense, so it seems like a no-brainer to add her into Genshin Impact at some point.

Both games are also rumored to take place in the same universe, which is why fan theories about the Unknown God always seem to circle back to Honkai Impact 3rd. Even though miHoYo has never officially confirmed its two games are connected (or that characters from one will appear in the other), it still seems incredibly likely that a crossover event will happen in the future – and Fu Hua seems like an obvious choice to appear in Genshin Impact.
