In It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Dee Reynolds constantly gets abused and tormented by the rest of the gang. Sometimes they call her cruel names, other times she’s the victim of one of their many evil acts.

However, Sweet Dee is no saint herself as she is one of the most reprehensible characters on the show. She is selfish, manipulative, and even sociopathic at times. And she has done some incredibly heinous things over the years.

This list narrows down her ten most horrific yet (sometimes) hilarious deeds. It’s worth noting that this list doesn’t include schemes the whole gang was involved in unless she was the main perpetrator.

10 Got The Waitress Drunk

When Dee wanted to have a Sex in the City-like night out, she bribed the Waitress to come by offering her Charlie’s notebook. While at a club, Dee ordered cosmopolitans for them both (and Artemis), which the Waitress rejected because she has a drinking problem.

Dee called the Waitress’ announcement of her problem with alcohol “horribly unattractive,” and then told her to just hold onto the drink or she wouldn’t give her the notebook. It didn’t take long for the Waitress to ruin her sobriety and get incredibly drunk, all because of Dee.

9 Burned Her Roommate

Dee was once institutionalized for burning her college roommate. She originally claimed it was because her roommate was copying her, but Dennis quickly pointed out it was the other way around.

Regardless of who was doing the copying, lighting someone on fire is an incredible overreaction and shows that Dee can be every bit as deranged as her brother. The burning incident wasn’t actually shown in the series, but it was brought up during “Gun Fever Too: Still Hot.”

8 Tried To Exploit A Baby

In the first episode of season 3, Dee and Mac looked after a baby they found in the dumpster. And it didn’t take long before they thought of a way to exploit the child for financial gain by turning him into a star.

However, after an agent told them there wasn’t room for another white baby actor in the business, Dee and Mac decided to make the infant brown. The duo was refused at the tanning salon, so they resorted to just painting the baby with shoe polish but were stopped before they could finish.

7 Wore Brownface And Blackface

Dee isn’t someone who worries much about racial sensitivity, as shown by her willingness to paint herself black or brown for a performance. In the gang’s version of Lethal Weapon 6, she played Murtaugh’s daughter, and performed the role in blackface.

Dee’s brownface has been displayed every time she’s played her Puerto Rican TV reporter character, Martina Martinez. As reprehensible and tasteless as this is, Dee doubles down on the racial insensitivity by putting on an offensive voice when playing her.

6 Drowned A Kid

The gang’s trip to a waterpark in season 12 resulted in Dee and Mac being stuck in a slide. While in the tube, they wanted to get rid of some of the children they were trapped with to get more room and potentially dislodge themselves.

One of the kids Dee suggested they send down was already passed out, yet that didn’t stop them. The unconscious boy went down the slide, and then floated face down in the pool while the lifeguard ignored him.

5 Held A Funeral For Her Fake Baby

When Dee was getting audited by the IRS for claiming a baby that wasn’t hers as a dependant, she needed a way out of the situation. Dennis, wanting to get the IRS agent away from Paddy’s, came up with the idea of pretending the baby had died. The gang then held a fake funeral for the infant in what was one of their darkest moments.

It might have been her brother’s idea, but as Dee gave a eulogy at the event and lied about the baby in the first place, so it still counts as one of the worst things she’s done.

4 Molested Charlie

Dee and Charlie slept together in the season 10 episode “The Gang Misses The Boat.” What seemed like an awkward hook-up at the time was later revealed to be more sinister.

During the sexual harassment seminar the gang attended in season 13, Charlie said he tried to stop the encounter part-way through, yet Dee didn’t let him. She admitted that was what happened, but tried to claim that a woman can’t rape or molest a man, something the woman running the seminar quickly refuted.

3 Manipulated Guys Into Sleeping With Her

Much like Dennis’s infamous implication strategy, Dee has a way to manipulate people into bed. When she’s fooling around with a man, if he starts to get second thoughts about sleeping with her, she insinuates that her version of the night’s events could be different than his, meaning she insinuates that she’ll accuse him of assault if he doesn’t sleep with her.

Several seasons before she explained this strategy to Dennis, Ben the soldier was brought to tears when he was talking about how Dee tricked him into hooking up with her.

2 Had A Guy Strip For His Daughter

After a stripper she slept with described the experience as his rock bottom, Dee wanted to prove that his life wasn’t so bad. So, she convinced the guy to take part in a strip show for some sorority girls so he could have some fun.

Alas, Dee actually tricked the man into putting on a strip show and giving a lap dance to his estranged daughter, thus showing that sleeping with Dee wasn’t his rock bottom as his life could get worse. An evil move that Dennis called the darkest thing Dee had ever done.

1 Started Cricket’s Downfall

The whole gang has played a part in Cricket’s transformation from priest to heavily scarred man living on the street. However, Dee initiated the man’s fall from grace.

After she failed to get the priest to bless a stain in their bar through flirting, Frank claimed it was because Dee was too old. She took that as a challenge, so she went to see him again and gave a full speech professing her love for him. Because of Dee’s words, Cricket gave up the priesthood to be with her, but she ended up rejecting him. That is when the downward spiral of Cricket’s life began.
