Jackbox Games’ Jackbox Party Pack 8 will launch in just a few weeks, complete with a fresh set of games. An annualized party game series, The Jackbox Party Pack hasn’t missed a year since it debuted in 2014 on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms. The most recent entry, The Jackbox Party Pack 7, went to market last fall and brought five new mini-games into the mix.

Today, Jackbox Games announced a firm due date for The Jackbox Party Pack 8. Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series fans can jump into the latest experience next month on October 14. The package boasts five new party games, each bearing a unique premise. Job Job sees three to ten players explore a “twisted interview game.” The classic Drawful mini gets a reimagining with Drawful: Animate. Four to eight users can put their trust issues to the test with Weapons Drawn, a mini-game where players must hide their misdeeds while solving other murders. Interestingly, The Poll Mine offers up Jackbox’s first-ever head-to-head team game. And, finally, The Wheel of Enormous Proportions gives four to eight users a chance to explore the “ultimate game of trivia.”

It seems fans will have plenty to sink their teeth into once the newest batch of Jackbox Party Pack adventures arrives in a few short weeks. Like many other interactive experiences, the Jackbox games received an explosion of popularity in 2020 during the global pandemic. How much of that momentum will be maintained remains a mystery for now.

The Jackbox Party Pack 8 comes to Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on October 14.
