UPDATE: In a new tweet, Jamil claims that the photo she shared is not of her Titania wig despite the similarities between it and the character in the comics. Click here to see her tweet.

Jameela Jamil has teased her look as Titania in Marvel’s upcoming She-Hulk TV series. Created by Jessica Gao, She-Hulk is another Phase 4 show in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that is scheduled to release on Disney+ sometime next year. The show stars Orphan Black‘s Tatiana Maslany as the titular heroine Jennifer Walters, Bruce Banner’s cousin who shares his ability to transform into a large green-hued monster. At the moment, little is known about the plot, although the series is being described 10-episode legal half-hour comedy.

Much of the cast for She-Hulk has already been revealed. Mark Ruffalo and Tim Roth are reprising their roles as Bruce Banner/Hulk and Emil Blonsky/Abomination, respectively, whereas MCU newcomers Ginger Gonzaga and Renée Elise Goldsberry are playing new characters. Additionally, Anais Almonte and Josh Segarra are also attached in undisclosed roles. In July, it was announced that The Good Place‘s Jameela Jamil had joined the cast of She-Hulk as the villain Mary MacPherran/Titania and now her look as the antagonist has also been unveiled.

On Thursday, Jameela Jamil took to Twitter to share her look as Titania in She-Hulk. While she did not show her full costume, she did reveal her radical new hairdo and makeup for the role. Jamil’s new appearance closely matches Titania’s look from the comics, including her orange-hued hair and bright-hued lipstick. The bangs are a new addition, although they are not too much of a drastic deviation from Titania’s characterization in the comics. Take a look at the picture Jamil shared below.

Jamil has been actively teasing her preparation for Titania in She-Hulk. Since her character is a supervillain who possesses superhuman strength, stamina, endurance, and is an expert in street fighting, Jamil has been training hard to build muscle. Her role is quite physically demanding, yet still, Jamil is extremely excited to portray the character. Recently she expressed her joy about working on the project, saying that she “cannot believe [she gets] to do this bloody job.” She also hyped up the show, claiming that it was a lot of fun to film.

The new look at Jamil’s Titania solidifies She-Hulk‘s aspirations for comics accuracy. The show has been filming in Los Angeles and Atlanta since April, yet fans haven’t gotten a good look at any of the characters or settings. This has led to some curiosity about the quality and authenticity of She-Hulk, with fans wondering what the show would look like once it becomes available for streaming. But with Jamil teasing her look, it’s become evident that the upcoming series is hewing closer to its source material. Hence, hopefully, fans’ and critics’ reactions will be positive when they view the show.
