Bachelor Nation stars Jason Tartick and Dean Unglert revealed how much money they were offered to lead a season of The Bachelor or to appear in season of Bachelor In Paradise. The fans got to know Jason Tartick on The Bachelorette season 14, which was led by Becca Kufrin. Jason was one of Becca’s final three men, but he was ultimately sent home in week nine, losing out to season winner Garrett Yrigoyen and runner-up Blake Horstmann. In January 2019, he met The Bachelorette season 13 lead Kaitlyn Bristowe while recording a podcast, and they started to date.

In turn, Dean Unglert has appeared in multiple seasons and spin-offs in the Bachelor Nation franchise. Dean was introduced to the fans on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of The Bachelorette, where he made it all the way to the final four. As one of that season’s fan-favorite, producers promptly cast Dean on Bachelor In Paradise season 4, and brought him back for The Bachelor Winter Games spin-off as well. In 2019, Dean was cast on Bachelor In Paradise season 6, which was his very last time appearing in the franchise.

During a conversation that took place on Jason Tartick’s new Trading Secrets podcast, Jason and Dean Unglert had a very honest conversation about how much money they were offered to appear in different Bachelor Nation seasons and spin-offs. Per Us Weekly, Jason Tartick claimed that he, Colton Underwood, and Blake Horstmann were each offered a salary of $100,000 per season to lead The Bachelor season 23 in 2019. The job went to Colton. When it comes to appearing on Bachelor In Paradise, Jason negotiated a rate of $600 per day, with a $5,000 guarantee if he was eliminated “in the first week.” Alas, Jason gave up on being on the show at that time.

Dean Unglert had at least four different salaries in all of his appearances on The Bachelor spin-offs, which means that he negotiated his rates several times with the producers. When he was asked to be on Bachelor In Paradise the first time, Dean was offered $400 per day, which added up to $12,000 if he stayed all 30 days on the show. Dean issued a counter-offer of $800 per day, but he and producers eventually settled for $600 per day. On Winter Games, Dean settled for the standard $400/day salary since that series filmed for a much shorter period of time. When it came to coming back for BIP season 6, Dean was reportedly paid $602 per day.

Details about The Bachelor season 22 were revealed, given that Dean Unglert was in the running to lead the season. The job ultimately went to Arie Luyendyck Jr., but Dean revealed that he had been offered a $75,000 salary to become the season 22 lead.
