The Double-Bladed Lightsaber in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a fundamental addition to Cal’s arsenal that will be invaluable in dealing with the many enemy types the game will eventually throw at him. Although the game hints that players can go to Dathromir early after they complete Bogano, it is easy to simply follow the plot to Zeffo and miss out on this weapon until much later in the game, as the story takes a while to direct Cal to the dark planet. Dathromir is meant to be visited much later in Jedi Fallen Order’s journey, and players should be prepared to face some challenges to acquire this awesome weapon.

Although the Double-Bladed Lightsaber does less damage than the standard variation, its speed and size make it very useful when fighting groups of enemies. In addition, as players level up and gain access to special moves such as Whirlwind Throw, this weapon can often be the reason Cal does not get overrun by clusters of enemies, especially in higher difficulties where they are more aggressive.

However, the true strength of the Double-Bladed Lightsaber lies in its deflection capabilities. While the standard lightsaber will deflect a single ranged attack per parry, the Double-Bladed Lightsaber in Jedi Fallen Order will keep deflecting all hits after the first one as long as players hold the block button after a deflection. This ability makes quick work of Heavy Assault Troopers and destroys groups of ranged enemies shooting at Cal at the same time.

How to Find the Double-Bladed Lightsaber in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

To acquire the Double-Bladed Lightsaber early, players will need to head to Dathromir as soon as possible. The first opportunity will present itself right after players leave Bogano and are supposed to follow the plot by going to Zeffo but can instead choose to go to Dathromir. Players should know that this area is meant for higher levels, and the enemies players will encounter when visiting this planet in Jedi Fallen Order can prove to be very deadly, especially during the early game. Luckily, players do not have to fight any enemies they don’t wish to obtain the Double-Bladed Lightsaber.

After arriving on Dathromir, players must follow the path down and jump towards some wall vines. After climbing them to a big open area, players should head right and start climbing the ledges while avoiding the poison spitting enemies. If players keep heading up, they will eventually reach a cave entrance, in which two Nightbrothers will ambush Cal. These, like all other enemies here, can be skipped as they can prove dangerous to low-level characters.

After heading inside and using the vine to cross the gap, players will find their first Mediation Point, which they should use, as the next area is the most dangerous. Heading up the stairs and to the right will lead players through tight corridors with many Nightbrothers that will try to ambush Cal or shoot him from afar. However, if players persevere and manage to come out the other side of these halls alive, they will find one of the most mysterious characters in Jedi Fallen Order near a gap too wide for them to jump. Just before players meet the hooded man, they can head left to find a crafting table that will give Cal the Double-Bladed Lightsaber when used.
