Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is an action roleplaying game developed by Respawn Entertainment that might get some players banging their heads against a wall trying to figure out how to dive underwater. Jedi Fallen Order offers players a semi-open world experience with beautiful worlds to visit. However, as players explore these worlds and spot items underwater, they might often find themselves wondering how to dive to obtain them.

As players explore the wondrous worlds of Jedi Fallen Order on their journey, they will often see items in seemingly impossible to get to locations. Some of those items can hint to players that there may be a hidden path or out-of-the-box way to reach it, while others tease the players as they require special items to be accessed. Examples of the latter are the underwater items that players can see in places such as near the laboratory in Bogano or the many lakes of Kashyyyk.

Discerning between items that require creative thinking to get to and those that are locked behind enhancements or skills the player will get later on can be one of the most frustrating aspects of this otherwise great game. Because of this fact, it might benefit players to wait until they obtain all the upgrades before trying to reach the many hidden areas in Jedi Fallen Order. The skills or upgrades that will allow Cal to reach all items are; Wall Run, Force Push, Force Pull, Underwater Breather, Double Jump, Scomp Link, Overcharge, Powered Zipline, and Climbing Claws.

How to Get the Underwater Breather in Jedi: Fallen Order

To dive underwater, players will need to obtain an Underwater Breather. Fortunately, by simply playing the game, players will eventually find it, as it will be given to Cal on his second trip to Kashyyyk by Mari and Tarfful. They can be found on a high platform in Origin Lake, across the water from the mediation circle. To reach it, players must go through the tunnel near the spiders and use a plant to jump to a platform with another plant. There, players will need to use one of their previously obtained skills in Jedi Fallen Order, the Force Pull, to grab the vine after jumping off the trampoline plant to reach the other side.

To use the Underwater Breather, players can press Square on the Playstation or X on an Xbox to have Cal dive without any fear of drowning. Pressing the same button while underwater will have Cal swim down while pressing the jump button will make him swim towards the surface. While underwater, players can tap the Dash button to give themselves a speed boost, much like swimming on the surface.
