Jersey Shore: Angelina Clears Up Rumors She’s Not Filming With Roomies

Angelina Pivarnick has cleared up rumors that she has not been filming for the new season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation alongside her roommates. It would not be a surprise to fans if Angelina quit the show as she has done it in the past. Although she was one of the original roommates, Angelina was only in a handful of episodes in the original series.

Season 4 of the spinoff series came to an end in early September; however, the roommates have been filming for the next season for quite some time. Prior to the conclusion of season 4, some of the cast members had been filming at Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi’s New Jersey home. The new season is expected to showcase the births of both Deena Cortese’s second son as well as Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and Lauren Sorrentino’s first son. The season will also include other major life moments that the cast has experienced since filming for season 4.

Earlier this week, a majority of the cast shared photos to social media as they all reunited for filming for season 5. Missing from the photos was Angelina, which led fans to assume she would not be a part of the new season. To their surprise, Angelina took to Instagram on Thursday to clarify that she was in fact a part of filming earlier this week despite recent rumors. In her Instagram Story, Angelina explained that she had received numerous messages questioning why she was not with the rest of the cast for filming earlier this week. Even Pauly D and Nikki Hall, who both reside in Las Vegas, flew to New Jersey to film with the roommates. Angelina assured fans, “I was there. Don’t worry, I did film and I did the photoshoot today.” Angelina was referring to the photoshoot for the promo photos for the new season, which the cast also did this week. Angelina continued on to advise fans to stop questioning whether or not she is still on the show. She clarified that she was in fact at the dinner with the rest of the cast earlier this week despite not being in the photo that everyone shared to social media. Angelina did not, however, state why she was the only one missing from the photo. She said, “Don’t be alarmed. Angelina will be a part of the new season, don’t worry . .  . in a very big way.” The cast all gathered together for dinner at The Butcher’s Block in Long Branch, New Jersey. While Angelina was not actually missing from the dinner, Ronnie Ortiz Magro was not in attendance despite claiming he would be returning to the show for season 5.

Although Angelina was in fact a part of filming for season 5 of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, it is quite odd that she was the only one missing from the group photo. Angelina was also not seen in any of the photos the cast posted after filming at Mike and Lauren’s New Jersey home this week. A premiere date for the new season has yet to be announced, but it looks like season 5 will be drama-filled.
