Jersey Shore star Ronnie Ortiz Magro promoted a clickbait article in which he suggested that his fiancé Saffire Matos is pregnant. Unlike his past clickbait articles, this link did in fact lead to an article regarding Ronnie and Saffire’s relationship. However, most of that article focused on Ronnie’s recent legal drama, and very little had to do with a possible pregnancy for the couple.

Despite Ronnie’s recent arrest for domestic violence allegations, he and Saffire are still going strong in their relationship. Ronnie proposed to Saffire over Father’s Day weekend while in Los Angeles, California, which is where he currently resides. He took Saffire to the beach, where he had rose petals and a bottle of champagne awaiting their arrival. Behind the romantic decor were white letters spelling out “Marry Me.” The couple shared the news on social media a few days later.

Upon learning of the couple’s engagement, many Jersey Shore fans began speculating that Saffire was actually pregnant, which would have ultimately pushed Ronnie to propose. Now, Ronnie is feeding into the rumors with yet another clickbait article. Ronnie posted a photo of an ultrasound via Instagram Story on Monday afternoon. In the story, he wrote, “So much good news to celebrate,” along with a praying hands emoji as well as a red heart emoji. Ronnie then encouraged his followers to “Swipe up.” He also posted the photo to his feed, but disabled the commenting feature. While many believed that the post would take them to an article revealing the couple was expecting their first child together, they were actually mistaken. Instead, the article discussed Ronnie’s past drama with his ex and baby mama Jen Harley. Then, at the very end of the post, it stated that Saffire is not currently pregnant.

Since Ronnie announced he would be stepping away from filming for Jersey Shore: Family Vacation following his latest arrest, he has been using clickbait articles as an extra source of income. Unlike his former co-stars, Ronnie does not have any side hustles that add to his income. Without his assumably hefty paycheck from the show, Ronnie needs to find a new way to make money to provide for his daughter and fiancé. As he continues to post more and more clickbait articles on social media, many fans are starting to fear that he might actually be going broke.

Ronnie is not the only Jersey Shore star to dabble in clickbait content for extra money. In the past, Angela Pivarnick has had her fair share of drama from sharing links to misleading articles. She and Lauren Sorrentino had a falling out when she shared a fake article pertaining to Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino’s jail time. Then, at the start of 2021, she received a lot of backlash from fans for posting a fake ultrasound, leading them to believe she was pregnant, which was quite similar to what Ronnie has now posted as well.
