Saffire Matos decided to post on social media and clear up some of the rumors swirling around about her split from Jersey Shore’s Ronnie Ortiz-Magro. MTV viewers were not sure if the couple had called it quits after their last altercation, but it looks like they are still a dysfunctional couple. 

The father of one is currently dating Saffire, who he met in February 2020. Recently, he gushed about their relationship on Instagram, saying, “You can’t force happiness,” he captioned a photo. “When you know it’s real, you realize it eventually chooses you,” he continued. But Ronnie has not had a good record when it comes to his previous girlfriends. Fans often watched as he battled it out in the shore house with Sammi Sweetheart for multiple seasons, ultimately leading to a devastating breakup. He then thought he found love in Las Vegas with Jenn Harley, but that relationship also turned toxic when both seemed to bring out the worst in each other.

Just over a month ago, Ronnie was arrested for allegedly attacking Saffire, but the couple is still, somehow, going strong. On Monday, May 31, both Ronnie and Saffire posted on their respective social media accounts to squash any thoughts that the two had broken up or called it quits. The couple used the same set of photos to prove a point to supporters and haters alike. While Ronnie used a sticker that read “wifey for lifey” as he held on tight to his girlfriend, Saffire seemed to go down a different route. Check out the post below:

She shared a picture of her with her legs wrapped around the Jersey Shore star as he held her close. While both seemed happy in the throwback snap, it felt forced to many fans who questioned if Ronnie should even be dating since he decided to take some time away from the show that made him famous. Saffire captioned the photo by writing, “two spaguineas.” Both turned off their comments so fans couldn’t give their two cents.

Ronnie was arrested in April in Los Angeles on suspicion of intimate partner violence. The LAPD revealed he was taken to jail before being released on $100,000 bail. Fans of the Jersey Shore really have no idea what is going on with Ronnie but feel he should take some to himself and sort his head out.
