Jersey Shore: Sammi ‘Sweetheat’ Shuts Down Rumors Of Show Return

Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola has shut down rumors that she will soon be making her debut on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. Sammi was a part of all six seasons of the original series. Throughout her time on the show, fans got to see all of the highs and lows of her on-again off-again relationship with co-star Ronnie Ortiz Magro.

When Sammi, along with the other original cast members, were approached with the opportunity to return to filming for the spin off series Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, Sammi ultimately denied the offer. At the time, Sammi had a new boyfriend, Christian Biscardi. She did not want to take the risk of being put in any awkward and drama inducing situations involving Ronnie. While her former roomies reunited to return to filming, Sammi focused on her own work ventures before soon getting engaged.

Now, Sammi is shutting down all rumors that she is returning to filming alongside this crazy bunch. She posted a Tik ok video in which she clarified that she will not be returning to the show. Throughout the short video, questions that Sammi receives quite often appeared on the screen to which she then gave short yes or no answers. The first question read, “Are you coming back to Jersey Shore?” Sammi gave a simple “no” as her answer. Earlier this month, rumors began to swirl claiming that Sammi was soon going to make her debut on the spinoff series. Many fans believed it to be the perfect timing since Sammi is allegedly newly single and her ex, Ronnie, is no longer filming for the show.

Aside from denying a return to the show, Sammi also cleared up a few other rumors. The second question read, “Are you single?” to which Sammi confirmed her recent split by responding, “yes.” For quite some time now, fans have been speculating that Sammi and Christian had called off their wedding for good after being forced to postpone their big day numerous times due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Christian allegedly changed his relationship status on his personal Facebook page back to single while Sammi was spotted in June without her engagement ring at the grand opening of her new boutique, Sweetheart Coast, in Ocean City, New Jersey.

At the end of the TikTok video, Sammi made it very clear that despite her recent breakup she is in fact very happy with her life at the moment. Jersey Shore fans were ultimately let down by Sammi’s denial of returning to filming. Many were looking forward to seeing a “single Sammi” debut on the hit show. Sammi’s presence is missed on the show dearly; however, fans understand why she originally turned down the offer. Now that Ronnie is no longer filming, fans truly thought Sammi would once again feel comfortable filming alongside her former co-stars. Looks like Sammi really is leaving her Jersey Shore days in the past.
