Although Jersey Shore franchise star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro will no longer be a part of the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation cast, there is a possibility that he won’t be cut from previously filmed footage. After he announced that he would be stepping away from filming the show, many fans assumed that production would eliminate his scenes from the upcoming season. There are numerous reasons why this may not happen.

Ronnie’s departure from the Jersey Shore franchise came after his most recent arrest. He was arrested due to domestic violence allegations involving his girlfriend Saffire Matos. While this was not his first instance of being arrested for alleged domestic violence, this was the first time that MTV took a stand. In the past, Ronnie continued filming despite the issues he was dealing with in his personal life. In fact, many times, the drama was portrayed on the show. Now, this pattern is about to change.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

When the first trailer for the upcoming season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation dropped, fans noticed that Ronnie was missing from the short clip. This led plenty of the show’s fans to believe that Ronnie was going to be removed from the new season, but that may not actually be the case. Prior to his arrest, Ronnie was a part of filming the entire upcoming season. He also attended the cast’s trip to the mountains, which fans think will be covered extensively in the second part of season four. Because of this, Ronnie is likely in most of the pre-filmed scenes. It would be quite difficult for production to remove him from every scene he was in. With that in mind, he may have been edited out of just the short teaser clip, rather than an entire season.

Aside from the fact that it would be difficult for production to remove Ronnie from all of the upcoming episodes, other factors will play a role in whether or not he’s seen. One factor is that Ronnie surely signed a contract with MTV prior to filming the season. Therefore, he’s probably already been paid for the time he spent filming. Another possible scenario is that he’s waiting on a paycheck for his participation in Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. The terms of his contract might mean that production isn’t able to completely eliminate him from the season; however, they could probably limit Ronnie’s overall screen time. Ronnie’s girlfriend Saffire was set to make her debut on the show during the season, but production will most likely remove her scenes due to the couple’s recent domestic violence incident.

Although many of the series’ fans were initially pleased to hear about Ronnie’s departure from the show, they are not happy that he could possibly be in the second half of season four of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. While it has not been confirmed whether Ronnie’s scenes will be entirely cut or not, there are rumors that his scenes were not edited out. Viewers said they spotted Ronnie in one of the teaser clips for the behind-the-scenes episode, which recently aired ahead of the season’s upcoming premiere.
