Joe Millionaire: Annie Confirms She Ran Into Tyler Cameron At NYC Bar

Joe Millionaire contestant Annie Jorgensen spent no time crying over Steven McBee as she confirms she did spend some time with The Bachelorette‘s Tyler Cameron at a bar in New York City. Steven shocked fans during the Joe Millionaire season finale when he chose Calah Jackson over Annie. From a fan’s perspective, Annie seemed like a no-brainer as she and Steven had a connection very early on in the show. However, the bachelor seemed to have stronger feelings for Calah, and the two are still going strong months after filming ended. While Annie has admitted she was just as surprised as fans that Steven didn’t choose her, she has no hard feelings towards her former flame and wishes him and Calah nothing but the best.

Tyler became a fan favorite when he appeared on Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette when he, like Annie, made it to the final two but was not chosen. His dating history became a topic of interest when he seemed to be reconnecting with Hannah only to be seen with model Gigi Hadid shortly after. Hannah wrote about the situation in her book, God Bless This Mess, admitting she was very caught off guard by Tyler’s fling with the model. While the two ultimately didn’t work out, fans have continued to follow Tyler and his dating life, which is why so many fans were invested when rumors spread that The Real Dirty Dancing star was seen out in New York with Annie.

Fans can rejoice now that Annie has confirmed she was with Tyler in New York; however, it wasn’t exactly as it seemed. On the Reality Steve Podcast, the contestant responded to the rumors and explained how she ended up hanging out with Tyler. The podcast host brought up an anonymous celebrity gossip Instagram account that first shared the rumors that Annie and Tyler were spotted together. The contestant was quick to explain what went down, saying, “it truly was just a coincidence. I was at a bar with friends and in walks Tyler Cameron.” The New York City-based contestant’s friends encouraged her to talk to the former The Bachelorette contestant, but she admits she was hesitant.

However, the two struck up a conversation when they were both standing at the bar at the same time. According to Annie, they only talked for about 5 minutes before going their separate ways. The two have not spoken since, and unsurprisingly, the rumors were taken out of context and turned into something way more than what actually was. The contestant did reveal that the two spoke a little about traveling for Joe Millionaire, but Annie wasn’t able to reveal much to Tyler, as the episode where they visited Kurt and Steven’s hometowns had not aired yet.

While fans may have hoped for a new romance between Annie and Tyler, they might be disappointed to find out the run-in was not what they thought it was. The interaction didn’t lead to anything; however, it’s still funny to see how two reality show contestants with something in common had a chance encounter. Hopefully, fans will learn not to believe everything they read. As for Annie and Tyler, the former Joe Millionaire contestant doesn’t seem too eager to chase him down and is way more focused on living her life.
