Johnny Depp & Amber Heard Documentary Series Set For Discovery+

Discovery+ has announced a two-part documentary following the tumultuous relationship and divorce between Hollywood A-listers Johnny Depp and Amber Heard called Johnny vs. Amber. The couple first met on the set of The Rum Diary before getting married in 2015. However, Heard filed for divorce the following year, which kicked off an extensive and very public legal battle between the two. Both parties accused one another of domestic abuse, and both deny those allegations. While the pair reached a divorce settlement, with Depp paying heard $7 million, the legal battles are far from over.

Both Depp and Heard have received intense backlash from fans for various reasons. Depp’s career has seen a notable decline in recent years due to the messy divorce, while Warner Bros has supported Heard and doubled down in keeping her in the Aquaman franchise.
