The Masked Singer season 7 contestant Jorge Garcia, who was the Cyclops, revealed which of his Lost co-stars he thinks should take the stage next on the show. Jorge, who played Hugo “Hurley” Reyes on all six seasons of the groundbreaking and critically acclaimed series from 2004-2010, had the distinction of wearing the Cyclops costume, which was the biggest costume in Masked Singer history. Cyclops was also the first mask to have animatronics in its eye.

This season, The Masked Singer has three teams: the Good, the Bad, and the Cuddly. As Cyclops, Jorge was part of Team Bad and competed against the first group of contestants, fellow Team Bad member, Ram, revealed to be sportscaster Joe Buck, Team Cuddly member Thingamabob, who was NFL player Jordan Mailata, and Team Good members, McTerrier, revealed to be celebrity chef Duff Goldman, and Firefly who advanced to the finale and has not yet been unmasked. Throughout his three weeks on the show, Jorge performed rousing renditions of “My Sacrifice” by Creed, “Suspicious Minds” by Elvis Presley, and  “Flashdance (What a Feeling)” by Irene Cara. He fooled the panelists, as none of them guessed his true identity. In their final guesses, Robin Thicke thought that Cyclops might be Kevin Smith, Jenny McCarthy was convinced that he was Zac Brown, Ken Jeong wondered if he was Dave Bautista, and Nicole Scherzinger guessed that he might be Michael Keaton.

In an interview with EW, Jorge revealed that he had such a good time playing Cyclops on The Masked Singer, and he would like to see his Lost co-star Terry O’Quinn, who played John Locke, join the show next. Jorge said, “he’s got a pretty good voice.” Jorge expressed how exciting it would be for him to see his friend on the show, saying, “That would be a thrill, just seeing like a head come off and to see Quinn under there. That would be great.”

When asked if anyone suggested that he should wear a polar bear costume, Jorge laughed. Polar bears were an integral part of Lost because on the first episode, a polar bear runs toward the characters on the island, leading the character Charlie, played by Dominic Monaghan, to say the iconic line, “Guys, where are we?” Jorge said that it would have been great and very fun to play a polar bear, and that “a polar bear would have been very on the nose.”

Jorge enjoyed his experience on The Masked Singer, and the audience adored his spirited performances. The fact that no one came close to guessing his identity made it even more fun. Lost fans would be thrilled to see other cast members unmask in future seasons. As the Cyclops, Jorge really had an eye for putting on a great show.
