The story centers on a woman in the 1870s who has to choose between three very different and interesting potential romantic suitors. Temple plays Fanny Robbin, another girl in the tale who has her own romantic issues going on. Though not a massive hit, the film was met with positive reviews.

7 Notes On A Scandal (2006) – 7.4

Rent On Vudu

One of the earliest movies on Juno Temple’s filmography is Notes on a Scandal and it also happens to be one of her greatest. Adapted from a novel of the same name, the film follows a lonely teacher who uncovers an affair between a fellow teacher and a young student.

Dame Judi Dench and Cate Blanchett both scored Academy Award nominations for their performances as the two teachers. Meanwhile, Temple has a small role as Polly, the daughter of Blanchett’s character. Notes on a Scandal was also nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Original Score.

6 Mr. Nobody (2009) – 7.8

Stream On HBO Max, The Roku Channel, Max Go, Hoopla, & Vudu

Another early film that Juno Temple had a role in was Mr. Nobody. The trippy sci-fi movie focuses on the titular Nemo Nobody (Jared Leto), a 118-year-old man who is the final mortal on the planet after humans achieve some form of immortality.

Although the film gives a deep look into many aspects of the protagonist’s life, his romance with Anna is pivotal. Anna is played by Diane Kruger, while a young Temple plays the same character at 15. Interestingly, this seemed to be liked more by casual audiences than by critics despite having a complex narrative.

5 Atonement (2007) – 7.8

Rent On Vudu

In a lot of ways, Juno Temple had her big breakthrough in Atonement. The movie turned out to be a pretty huge hit both critically and commercially, so it got plenty of eyes on her even when she was still pretty young. Of course, it helps that the cast is one of the more impressive ever put together.

Everything about Vinyl seemed to have the makings of a great TV series that would last a long time. The 1970s setting, a focus on the music industry, and a star-studded cast were all there, as was having the likes of Martin Scorsese and music legends behind its creation.

Alas, the show managed to only last a single season. Despite that, what audiences got was pretty great thanks to talented actors like Bobby Cannavale, Olivia Wilde, and Jack Quaid. Temple was among those performers, having a main role as Jamie Vine, an ambitious assistant at the record label.

3 Electric Dreams “Autofac” (2018) – 7.9

Stream On Amazon Prime

On its own, Electric Dreams holds a 7.3 rating on IMDb but given that each episode of the Amazon Prime series told its own individual story, only the one starring Juno Temple was counted. That installment is titled “Autofac” and it actually has the highest rating of any episode in the entire series.

“Autofac” takes place years after society has been ravaged by a nuclear war and follows the lives of a small community of survivors who must deal with a corporate factory that takes away their free will. Alongside Janelle Monáe, Temple has a leading role as Emily.
