Jack Gallo is the owner of Blush. He’s both wealthy and incredibly cheerful, with an expensive bar lining one wall of his office. The womanizing publisher has been divorced four times. Though he can currently be seen in The Goldbergs, Jack’s performer George Segal has appeared in other shows like Entourage and Pushing Daisies, and movies such as The Cable Guy and Look Who’s Talking.

Laura San Giacomo – Maya Gallo

Jack’s daughter Maya is a liberal writer who’s often at odds with both her father’s more conservative ideals, as well as the magazine’s perpetuation of unrealistic expectations for women. She begins the series estranged from Jack but is forced to return after being fired from yet another job. Seen in everything from Pretty Woman to Veronica Mars, if Just Shoot Me! had a breakout star, it would undoubtedly be Laura San Giacomo.

David Spade – Dennis Finch

Dennis is Jack’s secretary but views himself to be more of a business partner, and is as sarcastic as he is sexually frustrated. David Spade was easily the biggest name involved with Just Shoot Me! Best known initially for his comedy work alongside the late Chris Farley, Spade remains the face most associated with the series. More recently, he was seen in shows like Love and The Mayor.

Wendie Malick – Nina Van Horn

The vapid, but confident Nina is a former model and fashion correspondent. She is known for drinking to excess and having a rather limited vocabulary. However, the character has also shown vulnerability over fears her beauty will one day fade. Wendie Malick has a lot of TV and movie experience, most recently lending her vocal talents to BoJack Horseman and appearing in shows that include This is Us and The Ranch.

Enrico Colantoni – Elliot DiMauro

Elliot is Just Shoot Me!’s suave and philandering photographer. He and Maya were sometimes more than friends and he was briefly her fiancé. Elliot is quite sensitive, despite his frequent involvement in office hijinks. Enrico Colantoni has an extensive resume in television and film, though the actor is best remembered as Keith Mars, father to Veronica Mars and the best fictional dad ever.
