Justice League is one of the most celebrated superhero teams ever, and certainly the most famous one at least when you take the DC comics into consideration. During its long existence, Justice League has had many members, some well-known, some relatively obscure, and even temporarily hosted characters who usually move on the other side of the law and count, therefore, more among the villains than the heroes.

The center of the Justice League remains the same, no matter how many members the League currently has – Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman, who are also known as the Trinity. Fans love the Justice League and many of them even had their favorite superhero team tattooed.

10 The Heart Of The Team

This beautiful Justice League tattoo created by Trevor Jameus is one of the best examples of how you can show love for your favorite superheroes in the form of a tattoo. The tattoo presents the most famous Justice League members portrayed in great detail. Superman is the most prominent figure in the tattoo, striking a proud heroic pose.

Justice League and its members have been around for years and sported many different looks throughout their existence. That gives not only comic book artists but also tattoo artists a lot of artistic freedom when it comes to the characters’ design. Josh Richey at Heroes and Ghosts gives a lot of detail to this complicated tattoo, which portrays some of the most prominent Justice League heroes while they’re getting ready for battle, about to spring into action and bring the villains down.

Superman is portrayed in flight, the Flash is running, Batman has his fist at ready, and the heroes look like they could take on the whole world.

For your first tattoo ever, sometimes it’s for the best to start out with something smaller and easier than having your favorite heroes tattooed on your body in their whole glory. Justice League is usually pretty democratic and fair at its approach to fighting villains and solving other issues, giving all of its members the opportunity to express their opinions and offer a solution for any threat the Justice League might be facing at the moment. As mentioned above, unlike some other superhero teams, the Justice League tries to be as civil as possible and spare the lives of civilians and damage done to the world when they’re fighting their villains and enemies.

That said, even the Justice League sometimes snaps onto full-on battle mode, especially if they’re facing a truly dangerous opponent. You certainly wouldn’t want to get on their bad side, and if they looked at you the same way they do in this tattoo by Fernando Souza, the best course of action for you would be to run away and hope they won’t catch up with you.

5 Lego Heroes Rule

Despite what the Joker might say, let’s get less serious for a moment and step away from all the fighting and drama. The usual animation and live-action film and TV version of the Justice League is still the most prominent one, but that doesn’t mean that DC fans should forget all the brilliant Lego versions of their favorite heroes they have at their disposal.

Lego Batman is just as awesome as live-action Batman, even though he might be a bit overlooked by those who prefer a more realistic portrayal of the Dark Knight and other Justice League members. That doesn’t make this tattoo by Sasha O’Kharin any less impressive.

Batman is an integral part of the Justice League. He may not have actual superpowers like some of his work colleagues but that doesn’t mean he can’t hold his own in a fight, as he proved over and over again. Batman’s greatest power (besides the fact he’s rich) is his brain, his formidable intellect and extensive knowledge of martial arts and hand-to-hand combat.

3 Super Friends

Whether you like to read comic books or watch films or both, you probably know that Batman and Superman have a long and complicated history together. They clashed multiple times in the past, which was partially caused by their different characters and the way they look at the world and the people around them.

Superman is more naturally optimistic while Batman has a hard time trusting people, his Justice League co-members included. Despite all this, these two still managed to become great friends, they saved each other’s lives more than once and they also spend time together even when they don’t have to. 2 Go, Super Bat!

The beauty of tattoo designs of Justice League members lies in the fact that there’s so many of them available online you easily find yourself considering getting a tattoo even though you’ve never planned it before.

Romantic relationships between the Justice League members are not commonly talked about, but despite that, they still do happen from time to time. For example, Green Arrow and Black Canary who date in the comics both fight with the Justice League, just like Aquaman and Mera. But there’s another couple which might have surprised many comic book readers, and that’s Superman and Wonder Woman.

These two weren’t dating for long, but they still looked happy together and great as a couple. They’re formidable enough as friends and even more dangerous as lovers, they belong amongst the most powerful Justice League members and hey genuinely care about one another, as this tattoo by Samael Cahill shows.
