Kate Moss Debuts as a Model for Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS Brand

The success of Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS line continues to elevate as the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star debuts the new face of her company. After spending some time with Kate Moss during her recent trip to the Vatican, the veteran supermodel has made her introduction as the new face of Kim’s billion-dollar shapewear and loungewear line. The announcement comes on the heels of Kim unveiling her partnership with Team USA ahead of the Tokyo Olympics.

Since filing for divorce from Kanye West, Kim’s net worth and portfolio have only grown. The business mogul finally achieved billionaire status earlier this year, thanks in part to the success of her SKIMS and KKW Beauty brands. Kim went on to secure a major deal that doesn’t get passed to just anyone and will be helping to represent Team USA as their official loungewear partner. Kim reeled over the big news and made sure to thank Caitlyn Jenner for introducing her to the Olympics scene during her childhood. Most recently, Kim announced that KKW Beauty will be undergoing a temporary shutdown ahead of a relaunch later this year.

Now, Kim is unveiling the new face for her SKIMS line and she tapped a former Calvin Klein model. Over the week, the reality superstar announced that supermodel Kate Moss is the new face of SKIMS.  “Introducing Kate Moss for @SKIMS,” Kim shared in a tweet. She went on to briefly share her history with the British fashion star. “I first met Kate in 2014 through Ricardo Tisci, and was instantly struck by her cheeky humor, authentic and classic beauty – we’ve been friends ever since,” Kim added. Photos of the campaign show Kate posing topless in SKIMS boxer briefs and bra and underwear sets in shades of black, white, and nude.

In a separate tweet, Kim gushed over Kate’s legendary status as a fashion model. “She is THE fashion icon, defining a whole generation of style and I am honored to feature her as the new face of @SKIMS this Summer,” Kim said. The big announcement comes just a few weeks after Kim and Kate were spotted touring the Vatican together with the mode’s 18-year-old daughter Lila. It was Kim’s first extended solo trip without her kids post her divorce from Kanye. The rap/fashion mogul was later seen at an airport in Mexico with their four kids awaiting their return to Los Angeles.

The family moment shined a light on how well Kim and Kanye are adjusting to life as co-parents. After announcing her overhaul at the KKW Beauty brand, fans speculated if she was going to change the name and drop the W that stands for ‘West’. However, insiders said the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has no plans of changing the company name or even her legal name. She’s still Kim Kardashian West and has been getting help from Kanye with the company’s rebrand.
