HBO Max has released the official trailer for its upcoming documentary series, Not So Pretty. The four-part investigative series follows Academy Award-nominated filmmakers Kirby Dick and Amy Ziering as they bring awareness to the potential hidden dangers behind the trillion-dollar beauty and personal care industry. Although Palmer has previously lent her voice to audiobooks and animated franchises such as Winx Club and Ice Age, Not So Pretty will mark her first debut in narrating for a documentary. Palmer will chronicle the upcoming large-scale investigative series, following many emotional real-life accounts and meticulous investigations, informing the audience of the potential risks of many daily personal care products and offering safe, budget-friendly alternatives. For now, audiences can look forward to hearing Palmer’s narration of the ugly truths behind some parts of the beauty industry when Not So Pretty premieres on April 14, exclusively on HBO Max.
