When it comes to children’s variety programs, one would be hard-pressed to come up with any series more iconic than The Mickey Mouse Club. Through various iterations over the decades, the group has been a staple of Disney television since its debut in 1955 from creator Walt Disney himself.

While Annette Funicello made a name for herself as one of the original Mouseketeers, there’s no denying that the most iconic, star-making version of the program aired from 1989 to 1994. Known as The All-New Mickey Mouse Club, the reboot of the series contained more young stars than any version that’s come before or since.

10 Keri Russell

Keri Russell was a Mouseketeer from 1991 to 1994 and she has gone on to an illustrious career in film and television. Her time as a Mouseketeer is a blip when compared to the larger filmography embodied by the actress.

Following her breakthrough on Felicity, her most acclaimed role was her six season turn on FX’s The Americans, which she sadly never won an Emmy for. Additionally, Russell starred in the movie Waitress and appeared in the most recent Star Wars film.

9 Nikki DeLoach

Nikki DeLoach has become a veritable character actor and has a steady relationship with Hallmark, which pumps out a ton of films that yearn for stars like her. Her tenure on The All-New Mickey Mouse Club extended from 1993 to 1994 only, but she was part of an illustrious collection of cast members in those seasons.

Since this turn, DeLoach’s most famous film roles include a sequel to The NetThe House Bunny, and a one-episode appearance on Mad Men.

8 Chase Hampton

Chase Hampton’s relationship with the Mouseketeers is a supremely intriguing one. He was an original Mouseketeer for this version of the show, riding with the cast from 1989 to 1991. However, he also returned as the co-host of the program in 1994, alongside his fellow former cast member, Tiffini Hale.

In terms of acting, Hampton’s most prominent role was absolutely as a Mouseketeer. However, he’s been steadily cultivating a career for himself as a musician, first releasing an album back in 2007 and continuing to put out new music since.

7 Deedee Magno Hall

Deedee Magno was also an original Mouseketeer in this version of the show, enjoying a four-season run from 1989 to 1991. Since then, she’s remained firmly in the realm of children’s entertainment.

Magno has become strongly associated with Steven Universe and its extended video games and movie spin-off. She plays Pearl in all Steven Universe properties, showcasing the versatility that made her a Mouseketeer in the first place.

6 Rhona Bennett

Rhona Bennett may not have been an original Mouseketeer for The All-New Mickey Mouse Club, but she had a lengthy tenure on the variety show all the same, running from 1991 to 1994 with the group.

While she also appeared on The Jamie Foxx Show and Homeboys in Outer Space, Bennett’s obvious claim to fame is her membership in En Vogue. She was not an original member of the legendary R&B group, but she was added in 2003 and has remained ever since.

5 Christina Aguilera

Speaking of musicians from The All-New Mickey Mouse Club, Christina Aguilera is a bona fide star who got her start with the variety show. Since donning Mickey ears, Aguilera has become an all-time influential musician with record-breaking album sales and five Grammy awards.

“Genie in a Bottle,” “What a Girl Wants,” “Moves Like Jagger.” The discography and singles from Aguilera are iconic musical hits for all-time. Plus, she has also made time to continue acting, appearing with Cher in the campy clut classic Burlesque.

4 JC Chasez

The massive musical icons from the 1990s keep rolling with the inclusion of JC Chasez, a Mouseketeer from 1991 to 1994. A talented musician and producer, Chasez is best known for being a member of *NSYNC.

Coincidentally, Nick Carter was another boy band member tapped for The All-New Mickey Mouse Club. However, he declined the invitation to join the Backstreet Boys instead. Chasez showed one could enjoy both experiences.

3 Justin Timberlake

Speaking of *NSYNC, Justin Timberlake is one of the most famous Mouseketeers of all time and one who has had the most success in both music and acting. He was a Mouseketeer for just two seasons, but he’s since become one of the biggest mega-stars in the world.

From *NSYNC to an illustrious solo career, Timberlake is a wunderkind who has done so much with his career already. Furthermore, he’s continued his acting pursuits, most notably with a surprisingly deft turn in The Social Network and his hilarious appearances on Saturday Night Live.

2 Britney Spears

At one point in time, Britney Spears was arguably the most famous person in the entire world, certainly in terms of music. Prior to that, Britney Spears was a Mousketeer for two seasons.

Spears has topped the Hot 100 charts four times in her career and songs like “…Baby One More Time” and “Oops, I Did It Again.” Like her fellow Mouseketeers, she has also maintained spurts of acting, like her delightful guest appearance on How I Met Your Mother.

1 Ryan Gosling

Ryan Gosling is the consummate Mouseketeer. He has clear musical talents, like Spears and Aguilera. He’s also a capable actor, like Russell and Timberlake. Gosling is all things in one and, of course, he was also a Mouseketeer.

From 1993 to 1994, Gosling got his start as a member of the club that’s “made for you and me.” While he may be more famous for La La LandThe Nice Guys, and The Notebook, there is a generation who will always remember him as a Mouseketeer first.
