Marvel’s upcoming Moon Knight gets a kid-friendly twist as a young cosplayer perfectly dresses up as Mister Knight. The next Disney+ show on Marvel Studios’ ever-expanding slate is Moon Knight, starring Oscar Isaac as the titular hero. The limited series has been in the works since 2019, when Marvel boss Kevin Feige announced it at the D23 convention. Isaac was cast in late 2020, and production took place last year. Moon Knight also stars May Calamwy and Ethan Hawke as Arthur Darrow, the primary villain; the series premieres at the very end of March.

In many ways, Moon Knight is a first for the MCU. It is undoubtedly the darkest Disney+ series yet, and its lead hero, Marc Spector, is a new kind of character for the franchise. Marc has dissociative identity disorder, meaning he has multiple personalities that live inside him. Moon Knight has so far been putting the most focus on Steven Grant, a museum employee suffering from strange memories and dreams he can’t recall. On top of all that, Marc and Steven have been blessed by the Egyptian moon god Khonshu, who has given them some of his powers for the purpose of fighting crime.

Even Marc’s Moon Knight form has unique looks, from his main white cloaked costume to the suited design of Mr. Knight. It’s the latter costume that has gotten a rather adorable recreation courtesy of You Don’t Know Jack, a social media account that showcases the perfect cosplays of young kids. Mister Knight’s white suit and glowing eyes might be intimidating on Isaac, but here, they can’t help but inspire aww’s. Check it out below.

Fans might recall this account for their Suicide Squad-inspired Rick Flag and King Shark cosplays from last summer. Marvel projects always inspire creative fan works and costumes, and Moon Knight is so far no exception. With the distinctive white costume, this is a character that lends himself well to careful homemade recreations. It seems likely there will be plenty of Moon Knight and Mister Knight cosplays once the series arrives on Disney+.

Moon Knight might inspire just as much cosplay as any other MCU project, but this Disney+ show promises to be very unique. From Marc’s varying personalities to the darker themes baked within his story, Moon Knight is poised to take the MCU into a brand new direction. Marvel has been very secretive about everything the series has in store, but its premiere in just over a week from now means it won’t be long before audiences get to uncover the truth behind Marc and his complicated life.

Moon Knight premieres Wednesday, March 30 on Disney+.
