The Kardashians star Kourtney Kardashian shared the first pictures of her surprise Las Vegas wedding to Travis Barker. The reality star and the musician got hitched in Vegas after attending the Grammy Awards this week. The longtime friends-turned-lovers have been engaged since October 2021.

The wedding occurred in the early morning of Monday, April 4, only hours after Kourtney and Travis’ excessive red carpet PDA. In the days following the shocking announcement, details about the event have slowly trickled out. The Vegas nuptials were such a sudden decision that Kourtney and Travis’ families were reportedly shocked and only found out right before. The two celebrities hadn’t even signed a prenup yet. The ceremony only had five guests. The couple declined press coverage of the event, choosing to take personal photographs instead. Now days after she said, “I do,” Kourtney has finally shared those pictures from the romantic elopement.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

On Wednesday, April 6, Kourtney posted a series of photos from the Las Vegas ceremony to her Instagram page. The pictures showed her and Travis exchanging vows in matching leather jackets and sunglasses. Kourtney began her caption by writing, “Found these in my camera roll.”  She continued, “Once upon a time in a land far, far away (Las Vegas) at 2am, after an epic night and a little tequila, a queen and her handsome king ventured out to the only open chapel with an Elvis and got married.” The 42-year-old also added that they were married without a license, confirming reports that Kourtney and Travis are not legally wed. The POOSH founder ended her caption by writing, “Practice makes perfect,” indicating that fans can expect more wedding ceremonies to come. The caption accompanied 10 photos of the happy couple posing, exchanging vows and engaging in romantic PDA while the Elvis impersonator stood in the background. The five individuals who witnessed the nuptials were not included in the photographs. Travis shared his bride’s celebratory post to his Instagram Stories and later posted even more photos to his own account.

The post quickly amassed millions of likes and thousands of comments. Travis commented with a bride and groom emoji, while Kourtney’s sister Kim Kardashian left a series of chapel emojis. Famous friends like La La Anthony, Kimberly Stewart and Malika Haqq sent heart emojis and congratulations to the head-over-heels couple. Longtime Kardashian fans have gushed over Kourtney and Travis’ love story and continued to show their support for the pair.

This is the first marriage for Kourtney and the third for Travis. Before she began dating the rock star, the eldest Kardashian sister’s most serious relationship was with Scott Disick. The two were on-again, off-again for many years and had three children together. The father of Kourtney’s children has made no attempts to hide his jealousy over her happy romance. Meanwhile, Kourtney and Travis have been applauded for successfully blending their families. The drummer has two children with ex-wife Shanna Moakler and adopted her daughter from a previous relationship. Both sets of children have consistently shown their overwhelming support for Kourtney and Travis as a unit.

The Kardashians premiers on Hulu this month. The show’s trailer revealed that Travis and Kourtney are trying for a baby of their own. Fans have since speculated that they are already expecting, though the caption’s mention of tequila may have squashed those rumors–at least for now.

The Kardashians premieres April 14 on Hulu.
